TPTB have countered the free access to information that the internet has given us with dilution via the mass propogation of misinformation and disinformation, causing every piece of information available to be "in question/doubt"... Fostering the need to trust the establishment to determine what the truths and falsehoods are.

WoS never provides you with keys to "your Bitcoin" on their platform.
You can never know for sure how much of the real Bitcoin you sent to them was rehypothecated.
It's like you trying to validate how much gold I have in my safe. I could say I have $100B and issue receipts for people to trade around the "ownership" of it. If your inflows can cover your outflows, you've got yourself a scheme.
I guess what's being implied here is be careful of the risk you take when you do not have true ownership over your keys.

You know, I'm listening to that new Saylor podcast and it's funny.. they mention two things separately but don't seem to rub these two thoughts together.
1. Saylor says you can't roll into someone else's country and start killing people because their Bitcoin is in their head and there would be nothing to seize.
2. The most virtuous thing you can do is die with your keys because your loss is everyone else's gain.
..... Isn't there technically some form of incentive structure there for bitcoiners to murder each other, given every all lost bitcoin increases the value of the rest?
Like, if 50% of all bitcoiners lived on an island, don't the other 50% stand to gain from a sudden major loss of life there?

That's a prohibitive cost to prevent abuse of the system. I've seen what the ambulance system looks like in Canada, and it's a fucking nightmare.
Grannies with the same a-fib they've had a million times taking up stretcher space in emerg hallways waiting for beds to clear. One less truck on the road to respond to a 18 y/o kid who got side swiped by a drunk driver, and granny's gonna get a $35 bill in the mail.
EMS is for urgent on-scene >>rapid intervention<< of life threatening complications.
All in saying is, if every ambulance service in america rendered care and transport for free, no one will be showing up for you when you need it and the cost is irrelevant because it means the life or death of yourself or a loved one.

Just that Reddit type of new / trending / top / most zapped of the hour, day, month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, all time

Honestly, we should be enabling content creators to monetize and to do their thing as effortly as possible on this platform.
Onlyfans, twitch streaming, YouTube vids, etc. The key is to begin onboarding different crowds besides bitcoiners onto the platform.
Best way is to create the best incentives for those crowd to begin posting here, and then their follower will follow.
I love it here, but there's tons of optimization and potential here that will require tons of work to cross the proverbial finish line of mass adoption.

How it is any different than collectors collecting coins? If someone wants to buy a fancy $1 coin from a particular era, who are you to tell him he can't buy it for $100 if he wants to?
I don't even care for the whole Ordinal/inscription thing, just feels like we're shaking our hands at clouds complaining about someone willing to pay more for satoshis that came from a certain block, when this has already been happening with traditional coinage for hundreds if not thousands of years.
