On the other hand, it's a terrible thing if it wasn't an accident. An attack against rando people going to a demonstration will only galvanize the people around the government, not to diminish the fact it's an atrocity.

From all the things in the released Epstein emails, Clinton and Trump having gay sex is the least scandalous and least important one. And the scandal should be that Dems and GOP are in bed together, not a cheap jab over gay sex.

#Hamas was put in a catch 22 situation by Israel and the Arab crowns, if they didn't free the PoW the genocide would continue, if they freed them they would loose their only bargaining chip and the genocide could continue at Israel's whim. They choose to release the PoWs and now Israel is breaking the #ceasefire and still blocking humanitarian aid from entering Gaza.

Americans, and Westerners in general, really don't get how the world they live in is based on the blood, murder and exploitation of the rest of the world. And not like it's something that happened in the past, it never stopped happening. The whole "neoliberal period" that started in 1973 was nothing but deepening the exploitation and subordination of Latin American economies to the US.

50 years ago, back in the 1970's, Disney was instumental to manufacture consent for Pinochet's coup d'etat against the democratically elected Salvador Allende. One of the seminal books on media analysis, "Para leer al pato Donald" (For reading Donald Duck), as well as the film La Espiral by Christ Marker, talk about this (albeit the film focus less on Disney specifically).
I don't give a fuck about what's his name getting canceled, Disney has been fascist for half a century.

Yet again, the so called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation murders Palestinians. An Israeli drone fell where the masses of starving people where waiting for the food to be delivered, and in order to rescue the drone they started shooting at random, killing 35 and making the rest flee. This should be shocking, but after 20 months of genocide, it's just disgusting. The USA is as responsible of the genocide as Israel.

It appears to me that the USA is only stalling and trying to whitewash their image on account of how impopular #Israel and its genocide have become. Other than that, other than being able to claim "we aren't guilty, we even got 2 temporary ceasefires going" there's nothing there. I don't believe the current rumors about a #ceasefire in #Gaza will amount to much. A 60 day ceasefire means nothing, people are homeless, hungry and all the urban infrastructure has been destroyed, 60 days wouldn't solve any of this.
Witkoff already betrayed Hamas once, when he negotiated a ceasefire in return of Edan Alexander. Why would they accept the deal now? Doubly so since #Israel has keep bombing #Lebanon in spite of the ceasefire agreement there.

Read How the Irish Became White, a book that follow the main argument of The Invention of the White Race, that is, that "whiteness" was invented to separate the toiling masses from each other, creating a hierarchy between them, and therefore coopting the European proletariat, particularly in the colonies, for the imperialist, capitalist, colonial project.
A bunch of that applies to the Jews in Palestine, that see themselves as "civilized" in opposition to the "savage" Arabs.
@npub1zxn…0kqm

2025-05-27 18:33:04 GMT

It's not about "the Jews", it was never about "the Jews". #Israel exists because the British Crown wanted a Western European colony in Western Asia. Israel continues to exist because the USA and the EU fund it, arm it and protect it at the UN. And today, the ethnic cleansing og #Gaza is being directly managed by US mercenary forces.

Knowing that fascism doesn't care about the law, knowing, and again I quote Bushnell, that "this is what our ruling class has decided will be normal”.

I'd like to reming everyone of #AaronBushnell 's last words, "This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal.”
Of course "murder is wrong", #Israel carries out 70 murders every day in Gaza, in average.
Dozens of infants have succumbed to undernourishment and thousands of those that survive will face livelong consequences.
And now, the American government is preparing a clamp down to defend that level of constant violence.

#ElíasRodríguez actions will bring a clamp down on the pro-Palestine movement and anything even remotely connected to it, of that we can be sure. I just saw a Republican calling for nuking #Gaza over the double homicide. What should we conclude of this?
Do we think appeasing fascists works? Do we think acting lawfully will protect us from fascism, knowing as anyone knows that fascism disregards the law when it's convenient to them?

I didn't mean to belittle the role of the Lebanese Resistance, nor of the Iraqi Resistance that also fired at Israeli and American interests in the region. It's just I ran out of space.

#Israel pulls the trigger, again and again.
The #USA gives the weapons and money and UN vetos.
#Germany gives more money and more weapons.
The #UK flies recon planes off Cyprus to help in the killing.
#SouthAfrica goes to court to try to stop it, to little avail.
#China cries about it, but doesn't stop carrying business with Israel.
Only #Yemen takes a stand no mater what.
It's not up to governments or States, is up to the people and the resistance to stop it

Iran is the only BRICS that has an open opposition to Israel and they'll never risk their own existence to help Gaza, unlike Yemen.

An addendum not to leave the rest of the cast out.
The so called BRICS are not directly responsible, but certainly are accomplices to Israel. In spite of its diplomatic efforts trying to unite Palestinian factions, China is one of Israel's main trading partners. Russia has always had an ambivalent relationship to the conflict, but they have very strong ties to Israel. The Indian ruling party loves Israel.

This is NOT a genocide carried out ONLY by #Israel, the USA and the EU have a direct participation in this, they sell the weapons Israel uses, they are their main sponsors, they protect them at the UN or other instances.
We have to ask ourselves, are we going to be silent accomplices of the genocide, or are we going to fight by any means necessary to stop it.

Yesterday was the 77 anniversary of the #Nakba, or the "Catastrophe", the beginning of the Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine.
Yesterday, Israel murdered Palestinians by the hundreds, in one of the worst bombings of #Gaza so far (!!!). Sources speak of 250+ deaths in the last 48 hours, with hundreds more trapped in the rubble. I simply have no words.
We need to bur the whole shit down.

I feel so much frustration and impotence, and I know it's probably the same for a lot of people, but we can't stop fighting. We need to stop the massacre and ethnic cleansing, but we also need to to something about a world that allows this to happen.
Never stop talking about #Gaza. Never be silent about the horrors.
Stand up to fascism, if we, as in all the people, don't stop this, who will?

The situation in #Gaza keeps getting worse. Finance Minister and key politician in Netanyahu's coalition, Smotrich, has said that Gaza will be "entirely destroyed" and the population "sent to the South and from there to third countries". He's openly announcing the ethnic cleansing.
People are starving, and children, the elderly and the sick are perishing in great numbers.
Israel couldn't pull this without the open endorsement and collaboration of the West.

Undernourishment and starvation aren't things you get well off by eating a full meal, they have sequels, sometimes life long, crippling sequels. The people starving in #Gaza, in particular the children and the elderly are in danger.
#Israel is deliberately starving the population in Gaza (a war crime) in order to "push them to voluntary migrate", which is a roundabout way of saying they are starving the population in order to ethnically clean Gaza.

The list of Israeli war crimes goes on and on. To mention the latest ones, #Israel is deliberately starving the people of #Gaza, blocking food and aid from getting in for 60 days, and attacked one of the #FreedomFlotilla ships in international waters. Plus it keeps bombing the already devastated Gaza, murdering dozens every day.
International law has shown its ineffectiveness, it's up to us to forcibly stop them.
Don't stop talking about Gaza, don't stop protesting.

Fuck Donald Trump, but you have to agree that an enemy that lies to your face is not "lesser" than an enemy that openly boasts of endorsing a genocide and ethnic cleansing. It's a different kind of enemy, but not a lesser one.

There's this myth that Western Democracies are opposed to fascism, that has some credibility over their stance in WW2. In reality though, Western Democracies have endorsed many more fascists than they have fought against.

This song is getting really, really old. What happens when you brand everything as "antisemitism", "pogroms" or "blood libel" is that words loose their meaning. If anything, the genocidal actions of the State of Israel (an entity that does NOT represent all the Jews, nor all the Israelis) and their apologists will only bring forward antisemitism. You can't claim to represent a people and act in their behalf, and they go carry out a genocide.
