I watched a Japanese Drama called "Liaison" on Netflix. There are things I cannot understand even after living here for 8 years. Why the mother of the victim has to make a phone call to apologize the mother of the bully

But I can understand some people cannot tell what is considered "bullying". When you grow up from school where teachers normalize bullying, as a result you tend to think bullying is a mean to acquire justice and order.

He did not know how to insert the bank note to the machine does not mean he is barbaric. Most machines in Thailand receive the banknote vertically. We don't have that kind of machines in convenient stores in Thailand because we skipped cash and most people pay via application or qr code these days.

I also think my Japanese acquaintance would not judge him that harshly (and racist) but those comments from X. You know what kinds of people are in there.

He did not even understand what he did wrong. In Thailand, even though the rule is to pay first but people sometimes added hot water first and pay, many thinks it is fine as long as they pay before leaving the shop, there should be no problem. I personally never do that. With my level of anxiety, I am always afraid that people will mistake me for being a thief. But still, I think those harsh comments are too much.
