Ahh. You're the first person I've ever talked that was brought up pescetarian, all the others I met picked up the diet later in life. Yeah, chicken isn't top tier meat, it's just affordable and versatile. Same with turkey.

I friggen love sausage biscuits, it's the one thing fast food places can consistently manage without messing it up.

Enshitification is real. Modern car designers and engineers need to have their faces peeled off by belt sander.

Pretty much. The end results are always secondary to arbitrary numbers at the periphery of my job. Which leads to much longer work times and insane procedures that don't contribute to finishing work safely, quickly, or efficiently.
"Hey, do X instead of Y and you'll save 4 hours of work." is always met with: "Oh, no we can't do that." Which then leads to paying someone overtime to fix an issue that could have been avoided by a few small changes (things that were common in my industry ten years ago).
Thankfully most of us are on the malicious compliance mindset. If they want to waste our time, fine, we'll waste theirs right back.

Thankfully I don't deal with customers directly in my job atm. That was an exhausting part of so many jobs. Instead I work with retarded management, 80% of whom have never done my job before (and aren't not even qualified to do it) so none of them know how things actually have to get done.

Yeah, even if you somewhat enjoy the work (and I do) when they just can't let you get away it wears you down. It's like a perpetual debt of mental and physical exhaustion that you just don't have enough time to every fully pay it down to zero before you're right back to the grindstone again. It builds up over the years.

I'm to the point where I don't really care if I lose my house. I hate my job more than I like my house. I was homeless a few years ago (while working) and it wasn't as soul crushing as my current circumstances.
I hope you find something that works well for you too brudder

There's a job that would be perfect for me that starts hiring in January. I'm holding on until then to make my resume look better and save up more money in case it doesn't, because I'll likely have to go back to school to move ahead if I don't nail this opportunity. I have backup plans but I just can't live like this anymore, I have no time for anything but work. Even my sparingly few days off I have to deal with it.

Decided I'm going to quit. I'll work for the rest of the year and save money, but even if I can't find a new job I'm going to let myself quit Jan/Feb next year. Fuck this place, I'm done.

This 2015 case stuck with me through the years. A White teenager flashed his high-beams at a cop car thinking the cop's brights were on. The cop pulled him over and escalated to the point of shooting him 7 times killing him.
When they were endlessly decrying police violence they never brought up a single White man or woman that was shot and killed by cops, that was OK, it was just the poor black man who only pulled a gun that didn't deserve to be shot.

"Woah hey, we're not here to figure out if the woman who admitted strangling her three children was guilty, we're here to make sure she only spends a couple months in a mental hospital so she can go back to killing children next year." - 11 jurors

Is walking five miles without a break as hard for normies as it is for me to go a week without shouting "NIGGER!" in traffic?

Oh wow, I can't imagine getting upset at the hospital botching a procedure, telling them to stop, then having the state try to take away your kids and ruin your life because you called out the hospital on their fuckup.
Kill yourself retard.
