Indeed, I practice and teach the Wim Hof Method and Wim Hof breathing ticks all the boxes for a potential endogenous DMT release, yes! Apparently it has been challenging so far to scientifically prove a direct link with increased DMT levels, BUT:

This is exactly where awareness, and human consciousness expansion comes in. First it's techniques/methods, such as Wim Hof method, Vipassana meditation, ayahuasca etc. Which keep their untuition sharp, so that they can discern nonsensical actors on social media. Then after some time what'll remain is pure awareness. This can be shown, but not "educated" in the traditional sense. Humans have to discover that by themselves, have to get to know themselves, gently guided by those who are already on that journey since a while. It's already happening. But the scale of it will become much larger.

I don't drink much coffee anymore. But it if I do, it's a decaf and I still wanna make it a desert and add a bit of sugar ;)
So, if you finally want to stop that ... I found that a foxy way is to put your tiny bit of crystal cane sugar inside anyway. And then just don't stir. Drink it up and don't slurp the sirup at the bottom. Voilà, after a few times - and if you don't eat other sugary things - you get used to the taste without sugar.
In the end it's all about subtle body and mind awareness though, with tricks or without.

I'm using a stand-alone Windows right now. But everything I described works on Linux, too. Linux became so much better and more stable lately. So, if I would start setting my workplace up today, I'd recommend Linux and try something like PopOS.

"Replacing Google Workspace with a Private, Open Source Setup For a Single User"
"For a long time I was looking to fully replace the very convenient Google/Apple/Microsoft productivity setups most people use with an open source, privacy-oriented one without running my own server. Contacts, calendar, notes, tasks management and office suite easily synced between phone, tablet, laptop/desktop running Android, Windows or Linux. There was always something that didn't quite work or which was less convenient than what Google/Apple/Microsoft offer. But NOW, I got it to work. Reliably.
"EteSync" for contacts and calendar. Costs a minor fee per month, but in my view absolutely
worth it. It encrypts all events before syncing them via their cloud. EteSync can be used with most calendar and contacts apps. I use “Etar“ calendar on Android and “Thunderbird” calendar on desktop. For contacts I recommend “Fossify Contacts” on Android, and again I use Thunderbird contacts on desktop. Works flawlessly so far.
"Joplin" for notes (replacing Keep, Evernote etc.). It encrypts the notes on device and syncs them with your cloud service (Dropbox etc.). Convenient old-school notes management.
"Super Productivity" for task, project and habit management with Pomodoro timer. An astonishingly powerful tool that also encrypts events on device before syncing.
And the most complicated one ... the office suite.
I use "Focus Writer" on desktop for, you guessed it, focused writing. Very clean.
And "Apache OpenOffice" plus "OnlyOffice" for desktop, and "AndrOpen Office" for Android. OnlyOffice looks very modern and works best for DOC and DOCX compatibility. I use OpenOffice and AndrOpen Office as default for ODT files. Both apps basically have the same UI which helps with the workflow between desktop and mobile devices. Yes, I worked with “Libre Office” on desktop and “Collabora Office” on Android before. But I found Libre Office too heavy and Collabora Office practically unusable most of the time. Unfortunately, the same goes for OnlyOffice on Android.
How do I solve the syncing of documents between devices? Well, admittedly, I don't really. Because it's not straightforward simple or private at this time. I looked at “Cryptomator” (the open source old “Boxcryptor”) which encrypts any files before syncing them with a cloud service, But the mobile app isn't working reliably ... yet. So instead, I use a portable SSD with all my files that hops from device to device. And with the apps I mentioned this works very conveniently. When the SSD is formatted in ext4 it works with Linux, Windows and the later Android versions. Regular manual backups are absolutely essential though.
The beauty of this setup is that I can now work on the same things with any device from any place. At home with the laptop, outside in the sun with the Daylight, and for very light travel just with the phone. Clean, simple, private and it actually works. Freedom feels good. Status mid 2026.

Another plus aspect for Nostr for me is that because there's no given algorithmic structure, you also don't have to show up regularly for your posts to be distributed widely. You can take a break and you won't be punished for it. Because who should tell you how often you have to 'work' on what? That sounds like the old 9-5 employment structure most of us wanted to break free from. So even in that aspect, Nostr breathes freedom on a different level than 'just' censorship resistance and decentralization.

Somehow I ended up in a mainstream cinema to watch "The Odyssey" ... and we left about half way into the movie!
Plain and clear, in my view it's a disgraceful pile of garbage. I don't know the director.. But only a psychopath can turn a millennia old story about the timeless human journey from ego home to love into such a nonsensically violent nervous system wrecking shitshow.
There is no beauty, there's no humaneness, there's no depth. The original story was told from mouth to mouth at human gatherings for thousands of years, because it touches the human soul and its earthly struggle at it's core.
After this movie, nobody goes home to share anything with anyvbody. You come home dull and psychologically traumatized. You come home waiting for the government to provide for you, because you are depressed as heck believing you've been born into a genuinely evil, psychotic world and there's nothing you can do about it.
I wonder why Matt Damon after seeing the movie didn't straightout slap the director in the face with an ancient Greek leather gauntlet asking if there was no dignity left in him.
Folks, there's lots of work to be done. To bring the magic and beauty of life back into our human consciousness.

Is it just me or is it generally annoying and complicated to watch movies these days? I don't watch movies a lot. But when I want to see a specific one, I often just give up after half an hour of searching for a way to stream it.
Apple TV, Amazon, Disney, Netflix + whatever national and regional offsprings there are. Okay, no longer available here, perhaps there. Once I'm lucky enough to have found the movie on a service, I'm not gonna subscribe just for that. Okay, maybe I can rent it somewhere.. So, I want to pay ... aaaand, not available in your region? Okay, why would that be? Let me see. VPN turned on ... aaaand, it doesn't let me open an account with a VPN turned on. Maybe there's a VPN that hides that it's a VPN ...
Latest at this point I go: "Screw it! No movie necessary."
Not that I lenjoy the idea of streaming music too much either, but at least I immediately find what I'm looking for. So how come so complicated with movies? National jurisdictions and global internet are like oil and water. How much longer we gotta play this :D ??

I had the pleasure of a second unboxing of my Daylight Computer today 😁 The original one had a "chrystal leak" issue, where the screen would turn black pixel by pixel from one of the corners, like a spreading ink patch.
I got in touch with the @nprofile…r69k team and they immediately offered a return within the 1-year warranty. From my side, sending it back from Greece became a little ordeal. But it worked out eventually. And the team even reimbursed the extra expenses that came with it. Everything in BTC!!
Now I'm holding a fresh new piece in my hands. I love the attention to detail, the intention, the texture. During the month it was gone I missed:
- reading e-books before sleep
- taking handwritten digital notes
- working in full sunlight
- a screen that doesn't subconsciously stress me out.

In most cases it's exactly as you say. Then there are those who live frugally and sustainably, but find identity in moralist victimhood. And don't want to go to the core of the environmental issue either. In the end it's a path towards understanding self and with it nature which - granted - is often inconvenient, yet also highly rewarding once you walk it.

I felt the urge to comment on an alarmist climate change post on Instagram. It's never worth it, waste of time.
But, I found the response here interesting. The person (if it's indeed a person) totally relies on and cheers the fact that "climate change denial" comments will be censored.
I didn't even deny anything. It's just so interesting that, as always in the human past, at crucial moments in history, when times are wildly uncertain, people beg to be restricted just to feel a sense of order, to have a sense of belonging, of safety that the world is the way they believe it is.
Until the point when things turn into widespread violence and cruelty. Then the very same people who asked for restriction will eventually cheer for a revolution of 'freedom' from oppressors. Only once it's 'safe' to do so.
There's always somebody or something else to blame or to trust. Real freedom is never there, always misunderstood. Never does it have to do with themselves.
It's so tiring to see these patterns. And so hard to bring us out of it. Because shifts in consciousness can't be explained, the mind doesn't have that kind of power, language falls short. Feeling is understanding. That's why commenting is a waste of time.
You can only be you, act different, go further and deeper, understand yourself, then know even less, be humble, be patient, and enjoy that lovely ride.

Update on publishing short-long form video on Nostr.
You can of course post it in your feed in regular Twitter-like clients.
But if you want to curate a video library and have more of a YouTube experience, then there were two clients: Nostube and Plebs.app.
Plebs.app is no longer working and the domain doesn't exist any longer. Nostube is still alive and well. However, my recent video uploads there still don't play. Someone pointed out that this has to do with a "codec issue". Yes, probably. However, it's a good while later and no fix in sight.
I also don't see Nostube getting themselves known on Nostr, no profile to follow. So, yeah ... it's a bit unfortunate that these promising alternatives don't have the support or courage to carry on.
I heard about DiVine video running on Nostr. But personally, I don't know what to do with 6 second clips, neither for consuming, nor for creating. So, it looks like we are stuck with Twitter clones here for now when it comes to video.

Yes! Awareness is key. "Convenience", "laziness", "seeking safety" are subconscious patterns we are unaware of. And they don't need to be fought, they need to be seen fully for what they are. Then urgency follows, action is inevitable. The tools for a more free and abundant life are right in front of us. Our awareness and consciousness is only catching up. What is it that makes us human in the age of AI? What is freedom? We need to find out, everyone for him- or herself. Together.

That's correct. It's the pushout of the CO2 that enables the long retention times, and which creates more alcalinity in the bloodstream that helps so much with inflammation. O2 saturation in the blood is already at ~98% even before starting the breathwork. This video is about that you consune less oxygen (and thus store/keep it better automatically) when you are relaxed 😉

Stay relaxed when doing the Wim Hof breathing exercise. This is not a challenge workout.
The more relaxed you are, the more oxygen can be stored in your body. And the longer your retention times can be.
Also here, no competition. The retention times differ from day to day and person to person. Whatever duration you can effortlessly relax in, is the right length for you in that moment.
We want to access deeper areas in our brain that go beyond thought, clear us up from everyday information overload, and make us feel home in our body and mind.
That's a great place to face the world from.

It was an absolutely lovely Open Day at the Plan B Summer School today in Lugano. Highly entertaining ... time just flew with exactly the topics I often pondered about. From metal coins monetary history to perhaps soon being able to live entirely on a Bitcoin standard with the help of stablecoins. Yes! Minds were very open here.
It's always refreshing to be among Bitcoiners. First time we met the community in Lugano and I'm looking forward to more.

We met up with a Wim Hof instructor buddy today and got a proper introduction to the natural cold plunge super region Ticino 🇨🇭
Close to the Nufenen pass road., there's a mountain lake fed by melting snow at around 2,500 m altitude ... and conditions were ice bath like, 4°-5° Celcius. Grrreat!!
I'm so looking forward to exploring more of the region!

Bringin released an enormous update of their app and services that's worth checking out, especially if you live in Europe!
I copied the entire newsletter article here. Very interesting stuff that would make it way easier to live on a Bitcoin standard.

"We launched a whole new version of Bringin, and there's genuinely a lot packed into it. I'll unpack the highlights below - but save this email and come back to it when you have time, because each of these is worth a proper look.
I will try to briefly unpack them in this email.
Debit cards - Not like any cards you've used before
1) Bitcoin-backed: The card can now hold a Bitcoin balance. Link your card to it and spend Bitcoin directly at any merchant - they receive euros, no pre-selling needed. Prefer euros? Relink the card to your euro balance and spend euros instead. You can top up the Bitcoin balance on-chain, over Lightning, or via an LN address - from a self-custody wallet or your euro account.
2) Multiple cards, virtual or physical: Create multiple cards, each linked to your euro or Bitcoin balance and relink any of them between the two whenever you like.
3) Zero Forex - Spend euros outside the eurozone at 0% forex, and Bitcoin anywhere in the world at our standard 1% fee. The cards are global, and you can withdraw cash at any ATM in any local currency.
4) Free express delivery (this month only): For the next month, delivery is via DHL Express at no extra cost - you'll have your card 2-3 days from when you order.
Self-custody Wallet - Built for private, reliable payments.
We rebuilt our self-customised wallet from the ground up.
1) Faster and Cheaper - It's as fast and reliable as the custodial wallet you're used to. Self-custody no longer means a worse experience.
2) Google back up - Talking to a lot of bitcoiners, I kept hearing the same thing - nobody wants to manage yet another set of 12 words. I get it. So you can now back up your wallet to Google Drive, and optionally encrypt it with a password. Backup and restore, without the mnemonic headache.
3) Both on-chain and Lightning - The wallet holds larger amounts securely and makes both on-chain and Lightning payments natively - no swap service in between. That makes it reliable for P2P, merchant payments, holding meaningful sums, and topping up your card when you need to.
4) Scan & Pay and Nearby Payments: A dedicated Scan & Pay button on the home screen for Lightning payments. And a new Nearby Payments feature that lets you pay other Bringin users peer-to-peer over Bluetooth, using a mesh protocol - the more Bringin users around, the further a payment can travel.
5) Outside compliance framework: These payments stay private. None of them touch transaction monitoring, KYC, or reporting - it's a pure self-custody wallet for payments.
Lightning Addresses - money address for future payments
You now get a few different Lightning addresses, each doing something specific:
1) {username}[email protected] - receive Bitcoin and keep it in Bitcoin, straight to your self-custody wallet. It accepts as little as 2 sats, so it's perfect for zaps, micropayments, donations, P2P, or just listing on your socials.
2) {username}[email protected] - funds your card balance directly, so you can spend instantly anywhere with your Bitcoin debit card. Hold your Bitcoin in whatever wallet you like and top up the card with a swipe - no lock-in, no need to keep a balance sitting on the card.
3) {username}@bringin.xyz - your existing address, which auto-converts incoming Bitcoin into euros instantly on your personal vIBAN. From there, move it to your bank or spend it on your cards.
4) An LN address straight to your bank - You can now create a Lightning address that drops euros directly into your bank account. Go to the Connect tab, create a Sell Connection, pick your bank, choose Lightning, claim an address (like [email protected]), and confirm with the verification code - done. Every sat sent to that address lands in your bank in seconds.
Over improvement is user expereince!
1) A simpler, more powerful experience: We obsessed over the experience this time - more power, less complexity. - No more orders to move money: Funding euros with Bitcoin, or selling Bitcoin from an external wallet straight to your bank, used to mean creating an order, sending an exact amount, and authenticating with an OTP. That's gone. You now get a static Bitcoin and Lightning address — send any amount, from anywhere, and the euros land in your Bringin vIBAN or bank account with nothing else to do. Every swap executes at market price, you get an email confirmation, and you can track it on your phone and check the full details once it's done.
2) A cleaner layout: Balances right on the home screen, and a separate Bitcoin Swaps section to move Bitcoin between anywhere and anywhere. If you don't need the euro account or the Bitcoin account, you don't have to touch them — all the flexibility, none of the clutter. -
3) Card management 10x better: Viewing card details, managing limits, setting your PIN, viewing and updating your 3D Secure password, handling your physical card — all rebuilt to match the neobank experience you're already used to.
The goal behind all of this is simple: give you the tools to be more sovereign. Take real custody of your funds, buy Bitcoin instantly whenever you want, spend it in the real world, and liquidate larger amounts without the stress. Addresses, vIBAN, cards, wallets - everything you need to actually live with Bitcoin as a parallel currency in this dual-money era.
What's next
A few things we're already working on:
- Third-party payments: so you can replace your bank with Bringin entirely.
- Passkey, biometric, and authenticator-app login - instead of SMS.
- And one more we're keeping under wraps for now - you'll get an update next month.
That's the short version - there's a lot more to find once you're in the app. Update to the latest version and take it for a spin.
