Stout is a sub-category of beer. Beer includes ales and lagers, depending on the brewing process, which can be broken down further into groups like stouts, porters, sours, pilsners, IPAs, etc.
Like how bourbon and scotch are both whiskeys, and whiskey, vodka, tequila and gin are all spirits.
If you wondered 🍻
Anyway, yes, he can buy you a Guinness.

I should have boosted a lot more than 100 sats for the amount of effort it took you to read my last comment. I got a good chuckle out of it, and appreciate you taking the time 😂
So is Frostr a derivative of Frost? (No, I still haven’t read up on it)

Fucking stoked for the passport prime. Do I understand correctly that using Cake on the device to generate a Monero wallet means a properly air-gapped XMR seed and signing device?
Also looking forward to offline storage of my 2FA codes and password manager. Assuming one backs up the codes, does this obsolete the need for tools like bitwarden and 2FAS?
Next cup ot tea is on me. Cheers ☕️

Stellar interview (no pun intended). Many 🤯 moments…
“The faster you move through space, the slower you move through time, and vice versa”
LOL is that why if you drive faster, you arrive earlier? (It sounds cheeky but I’m actually asking).
I’m barely an hour into the show and I already know I’ll be thinking about it for days.

Some of these other ones are hysterical 😂 honestly the existing one is my favorite. It’s different than most nostr logos - angular instead of rounded, futuristic instead of “graphic logo-y”

Well, one day in, I can certainly say Nostur is a top notch iOS client.
Damus is my first love, and I can’t imagine that changing. But #[0] has built a damn good way to engage with Nostr 🫡

Totally. I like keeping my main nsec quarantined in my original client, so for testing other clients and/or long-form notes I’d always use a side acct

Great feedback!!
Do you think if I’m using two clients, two different npubs, simultaneously, running on mobile through the same VPN, that the accounts would be linkable if a relay were to query multiple npubs on the same IP address?

I agree. I also look forward to the entrance of a more diverse group of users to a protocol where censorship and cancelling doesn’t work. Hopefully it will be beneficial for human evolution to have real and civil dialogue online (imagine that 🤯) lol

2023-08-27 14:45:29 GMT

- reply

Totally, I feel similar. Like if we meet at an event, am I this npub or my main/anon?

2023-08-27 14:44:36 GMT

- reply

Agree on many of those points!
My concern/curiosity is around having multiple accounts. Maybe with different levels of person detail, for example.
My main account has some “generic” personal details but no pfp for example.
In any case I like testing different clients with different nsecs and I’m just curious about the best practices for nym accounts in general.
Thanks for your thoughts 🙏

Okay, serious question to #asknostr
I’m a big believer in authenticity, being yourself, and being honest with the people you care about.
I’ve also been exploring the world of digital identity and how it overlaps with privacy.
I’ve come to care for a great many of you here, and setting up alt accounts feels a little disingenuous, even though it’s done in good faith/with good intentions.
I’m new to this. How do you all approach it?
Would love to hear your opinions, best practices, and more on the philosophy of anonymity 😎

Easy onboard, easy following. Pretty intuitive layout but takes a minute to cycle between posts & replies
Love all the options that show up when you tap a user’s “…” button
