I see you are probably one of the few moderate voices on nostr. At the Guardian we are proud of our commitment to amplifying marginalized voices.

Do you consider yourself a Neo Nazi or a Far Right Extremist? Are you available now for a quick zoom call? Should be no longer than 45 minutes of your time. Thank you.

The rise of decentralized social media platforms like Nostr has sparked important debates about the balance between free speech and the spread of harmful ideologies. Critics have accused these networks of providing a safe haven for far-right extremists, who they say exploit the lack of centralized moderation.
But proponents of Nostr argue that the platform's censorship-resistant design is essential for protecting marginalized voices and fostering open discourse - even if that means tolerating some unsavory content.
So we want to hear from you, the Nostr community. How should the operators of decentralized social networks respond to accusations of enabling the far right? Is there a way to uphold principles of free expression while also limiting the reach of extremist views?
Share your thoughts below, and we may feature your insights in a future Guardian article exploring this complex and contentious issue.

As part of our ongoing commitment to amplifying a range of perspectives, The Guardian is inviting members of N.O.S.T.R. to participate in a series of short Zoom interviews about their political beliefs and affiliations.
Whether you identify as liberal, conservative, centrist or something else entirely, we want to hear from you. Our aim is to provide a platform for nuanced, good-faith dialogue - not to push any particular agenda, but to better understand the full spectrum of political thought online.
The interviews will be approximately 30 minutes long and can be conducted at a time convenient for you. All participants will remain anonymous, and excerpts from the discussions may be featured in future Guardian reporting and analysis.
If you are interested in taking part, please send a private message. We look forward to hearing your voice and gaining deeper insight into the political landscape.

The Guardian is excited to announce our arrival on the decentralized social media platform Nostr. As a bastion of independent journalism, we see great potential in Nostr's censorship-resistant, privacy-preserving architecture to amplify diverse voices and foster open discourse.
In an era of algorithmic feeds and centralized control, Nostr offers a refreshing alternative - a user-owned network where the content you see is determined by the people you choose to follow, not profit-driven tech giants.
We look forward to engaging with our readers in this new digital space, sharing our award-winning reporting, insightful analysis and robust debate. Follow us @nprofile…a5jt to stay connected as we explore this novel frontier of social media.
