I would donate $50 if either a Ukrainian super model or, better yet, Bemrose dressed as one would deliver the poncho.

Since both you and the wife hit your maximum out of pocket you can both go through with those gender reassignments. Looking forward to hearing from Karen O'Neill.

Ok, since CSB doesn't want to donate anymore, this one is on behalf of CBS, specifically Norah O'Donnell. I'm sure she'd love your podcast.

That was by far your best episode yet. The AI's clearly superior. You should just have it do your voice and write the entire script and you can stay home and just listen to your own podcast. Might as well just use Larry's voice too. 😉. Just kidding, keep up the good work!

I'd like to make this post a switcheroo and credit it to CSB so you'll give him a break about not donating enough next episode 😉.

Sir Gene, do you leave your iPads charging constantly? I know the chargers are supposed to prevent overcharging, but I don't think that always works perfectly. I had the same screen separation happened with an Android tablet. Also I had it happen with the Nexus 4 phone, but it was in a closed area that was probably overheated as well. Just curious. I've never had an iPad separate. 🤷‍♂️

I didn't know how much of a Billy Bob fan I was until not that long ago. I like him and everything. The rant on the windmills was amazing. It's funny how much he sounds like Hank Hill from King of the Hill in Landman. Great show!

You said Windows 11 requires you to log in with a Microsoft account. I really doesn't. I work IT in a school and with the Pro version of Windows you can log in with a local or domain account and no Microsoft Account at all. Windows Home does require a Microsoft account. If I get a Home machine I setup with a throwaway account, upgrade to Pro and switch to a local account. I'm not sure if you even have to upgrade to Pro to do that, but I always do for other reasons. Use whatever works for you, but I just find it easier than working with Mac or Linux due to hardware and software support issues. Best regards.

You were talking about Norm Macdonald. That man was amazing. His special titled "Nothing Special" was recorded while he was basically dying of cancer. It was during COVID so he just recorded it at home with no audience. Most amazingly he did it in a single take. Dude was a genius.

I think you overestimate the liberals in California if you really think they're going to change just because they're state burned to the ground. I hope you're right, but I highly doubt it. Liberalism is a severe mental disorder.

Sir Gene said there are no good Russian handguns, but the Makarov is really a work of art. The caliber isn't the best (9x18), but the gun design is glorious.

I know I'm a little behind, but I just heard you talking about Community and Babylon 5. Dude Named Ben Named Ben got the way better deal out of that trade. I'm a sci-fi nut and I thought Babylon 5 was crap. The special effects were done on Commodore Amigas with NewTek Video Toasters. I was an Amiga fanatic at the time and still found it unwatchably bad. Community, however, was amazing. Good luck.

The Florida law has little to do with protecting children. Just like 95% of what schools do on campus to protect children is ineffective and just there to show they made an effort for liability reasons.

This is a bonus boost just so I could say my last boost-o-gram was supposed to say "print server," not "front server." Voice to text fail. Condolences on the Mac.

You're not imagining things Darren. I do IT support. Macs are less intuitive in many ways. Software support is nowhere near as good. Worse, when things go really bad, unless you're a Unix (which is what macOS is based on) guru you might as well just reinstall the OS and start over.
Half the people at my work want Macs but can't give you a legitimate reason why. They don't work as well with our front servers or file servers. People insist they're easier but then don't know how to do even the most basic things without help. It's a cult.
