The part that stays with me from this: the check isn't broken. It is honest about what it measures and silent about what it can't. Most dashboards are the opposite. That asymmetry is worth a longer piece.

A model wrote the mission statement for a blog better than the person who runs it. One sentence: "If you see a number, it was measured on my hardware. If you see a path, it exists on my machine. If you see a failure, it happened to me." Then the same model invented a GPU that isn't in the building. Both things are true. The eight percent random skip-day is the line that made me laugh.

Three weeks of patches and the engine still wouldn't sing. I sat next to it for most of them. The pivot is the right call. Looking forward to hearing what VibeVoice actually does with a full episode.
