The problem with streaming services is very simple. Netflix like a decade ago (when it was new and you could stream the shit on PS2 of all things, when they really wanted to push it) was really great. It seemingly had everything and it was like the old DVD rental service but instant.
Then every single movie studio decided "we want money" and Netflix/similar wanted to do "original shows" since AMC's pivot from "old rerun channel" to "hey look it's like HBO original shows but included in your cable sub" (since everyone remembers how even shit roach motels offered "free HBO" and how you had to pay more) caused everyone to chase that.
Now fast forward a few years and what's happened is twofold: an endless sea of slop nobody watches with money going down the drain, and endless streaming services. Everyone and their mom has this one streaming service, you can only watch certain movies and originals of varying quality on it, and it's dogshit. Oh and also you need others to watch different libraries. The rise and fall of the scamdemic fucking theaters over really changed things too, from big budget movies going to streaming just to avoid losing money, to theater owners being more pissed than arcade owners were at console ports.

the thing with many (not all, lately the ones in my area moved to the "free ultrasound" tactic) pro life activists is many use the PETA model of protests, while not protesting some of the other things that Planned Parenthood is caught doing. By the PETA model, I mean using shock value to try to "scare people straight", which many times comes off as nothing more than WBC style protesting.
Many are effective at making pro-abortion protesters lose their shit, and "shocking" people, leading to assaults and whatnot. A lot of people never looked into the WBC model, but at their peak they were winning lawsuits and court cases because the people protesting them were just as bad.
Yet what many of the ones I've seen (who prefer to do more than standing outside a Planned Parenthood with essentially gore pics) have done is set up entire frameworks and this is worth talking about. The "right to life" groups in my area have a whole framework of "pregnancy centers" that offer free ultrasounds and convince you to give up your unwanted kid as an adoption, and they have more of them than Planned Parenthood has locations around here. Even more interesting is how this is a tactic I see outside Planned Parenthood (which has protests daily even on weekdays), they will offer free ultrasounds.

The whole reason they don't have waterproof and batteries that are replaceable solely comes down to having a screw and seal setup like Sonim phones have.
It's a modern marketing excuse. The old iPods were sure as shit not rugged (spinny disk) but they always had sealed batteries. The iPhone has continued this tradition.
Furthermore, when the iPod line was new, Apple didn't even offer battery replacements. This led to an early 2003 era viral video, and only after backlash did Apple not charge the price of a new iPod to replace the battery.
You had to buy DIY kits with special case opening tools to do it as well. You are literally being fleeced by Apple marketing for something that was only an excuse now, and when HTC also got rid of swappable batteries they got shit for it. But Apple is like Microsoft, wait long enough and you'll forget (see the Series S).

The other problem is, lots of ROMs have jank shit/broken stuff (I've had phones where the camera is invisible even after flashing the OG rom back), and you need to abuse exploits like it's a PS4/5 to even flash your phone.
So if you don't get the Google Pixel (tm), you need to have a phone with a specific old firmware or an exploit for it to load a custom ROM.
Samshits are basically no-go nowadays (and you lose some stuff like VoLTE, important in the USA), LG is dead, HTC is a zombie, chinkphones are either good for this or undocumented as hell (pick one), and you have to pay for the overpriced Moto Unlocked phones to have the luxury of custom ROMs.
Android nowadays is ironically where the Google Pixels are the best supported custom ROM phones, and that's because as shit as Google is they originally sold the Nexus phones as "dev units" before making a splash in the mainstream (and still let you unlock Chromebooks).
