I want my own home, sustainable, healthy and pleasant to live in. My job keeps me fed and housed but not much else, so no home buying for me. Aukland and Wellington apparently mark new day first. And the Line Islands in Kirbati, Samoa and Tonga. So yes! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring yes, i use a towel in the doir, makes surprising difference, plus flannel sheet over tension spring rod over door. All looks ridiculous but no one sees but me and the squirrels and crows. npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring but housecunfinished, windows just plastic, doors not well sealed, no finished ceilings and insulation starting to fall down. So lots of spots get wicked cold atcthese temps. npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring i cut off thectops if some clear plastic water bottles to be temp greenhouses for them. Imagine that cauldron full of stew!!!!! npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring my pans are all pretty grubby so wouldnt want them in my bed, but i do keep bricks on the stove anyway, to set pits/pans on for lower heat or to keep warm. They do multi duty, on floor for heat (this house was built on pillars instead of solid foundation, not ideal in this climate in winter.) for feet as heated foot rest, to warm the bed, and soonish will somehow use to protect potted herbs i just foolishly got. npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring i do when it is 15 or more if too tired to wrestle with coat but not this cold. Keeping spare pair of socks near woodstove to switch out after woodpile trips. Took 2 hot bricks to bed with me last night. npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring I don't relish it, but can usually deal with it ok, but yeah, same, this bitter cold lately takes it out of me. My little jotul needs feeding very often, and I can't be away from home long or it takes hours to get temp back up to tolerable. Less bad here, single digits but "feels like" temps below 0. npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring 🙏 ✊ 🥶 npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring Tagging for #SolarpunkSunday npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring Tagging for #SolarpunkSunday npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring Tagging for #SolarpunkSunday npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring Tagging for #SolarpunkSunday npub1gseas6d4rusax5yn3clmeu025k8q69rl632z3666uuqfqs9xepfq2d0h4p BrambleBearSnoring Very cool!!!
