that's wild, i am just here for school and do not know much about how bee cave has changed, what happened? is it just the classic tech bro diffusion?

@nprofile…z9f3 this photo was taken in austin texas, right off of fm 2222.
it is a pretty nice/chill road for motorcycle riding when traffic is low.

@nprofile…z9f3 that law has to be only applied to citations made by the game warden or something
having such a vague law in the first place is goofy, wouldn't it make headlights or any exterior lights illegal if they happen to cross paths with an animal?? crazy

@nprofile…syqt yeah okay i was hoping you meant cheap as in "just need one of em" not that it would possibly get blown up.
are you wanting a straight-up block which generates the square wave or are you okay with designing a clipping amplifier? I've only ever worked with discrete VCOs from Alps (E series 0dBm output, I'd have to dig for PN) and some random stuff from crystek.
my only experience with this kinda thing would be replicating some of Jim William's high linearity V-F converters. sorry ):
Very cool application though, I am excited to see what comes from it.

@nprofile…syqt you know a whole lot more about FPGAS than I do, but I kinda wonder if a gigabit transceiver could do what you need.
with appropriate filtering and whatever amplification you need

@nprofile…syqt do you have any more specs? output level, mhz/sec, acceptable phase noise, etc?

Framing is kinda crappy… I was too scared to stand in the lane

@nprofile…8x2j other than a corner shelf overhanging the monitors it looks like the perfect place for some cool die shot prints :)
the monitor idea is cool too, it just seems like it'd be too high up to be practical? it's hard to tell without being there but it looks like quite a stretch from a seated position.
only other thing i could think of would be some lighting? not sure if it's just the picture but it looks kinda dark
