Hi - Please boost! We are desperate to find a very senior person to be an Engineering Manager in Sydney Australia. SYDNEY IS A MUST. The company is well known in the real estate space and the team is absolutely fantastic, but will need some mentoring. The pay is VERY competitive and the workplace is LGBTQI+ friendly.
It's 3 days in the office (currently Pyrmont but moving to Town Hall soon) but the hours are very flexible. Must have a uni degree (yes I know that's silly), and be okay with legacy tech.

- Working in ISO27001 and/or PCI-DSS environment

I'm looking for a Test Lead type role in Sydney or broader AU (if remote). About me:
- I have 15 years of experience in QA, with 10 years as a leader and coach.
- I'm a generalist who knows stuff about front end, mobile, APIs, data, and many content management systems.
- I've started up QA departments at many companies.
- I'm not an automation developer, but I know best practices and can advise on testing infrastructure.
- I've helped with the rollout of Agile methodology and I'm happy to renew my Scrum Master cert if it helps.
- I have a ISTQB Advanced Test Manager cert.
What I'd prefer:
- If the role is in Sydney, I'd like something hybrid near the CBD or in Western Sydney. If it's anywhere else in AU or NZ, I'm happy to work remotely.
- Full or part-time is fine.
- Ideally the role would be perm or a long term contract.

I'm seeking recommendations for a hairdresser.
Where: Northwest Sydney or closer to the CBD as long as they're near public transport.
What: They can do interesting haircuts like mohawks or undercuts.
I'm near Rouse Hill and don't drive much. I'm currently just going to a run-of-the-mill salon and every haircut comes out the same and boring even if I ask for something interesting.

Making this post public - I want people to stop using the term "internet friends". "Internet friends" should be considered "real friends" because they are. They're people you've often closer to than "real life friends" that you catch up for coffee with once a fortnight. We know all about each other's lives, and are there right away when things go wrong. It's a silly distinction.
