I wonder if building holes into your forms for the rails to slide into would be a good idea?
It would eliminate the need for brackets, but it would make rail replacement more difficult.
Also I wonder if aircrete might be a fun experiment. Less strong but even cheaper and lighter. Might be good for non corner posts.

This video is mostly right.
While Sysco and US foods corner the market, there are still other options, so long as they're available in your area. like Costco Business, Chef's Store, and other similar regional distributors, such as "Springfield Grocer" in MO
I've worked in the food industry since the mid 90's and have watched food quality decline over my career due to difficult decisions that owners need to make.
Food is just 1 part of the equation, labor is a whole other topic

Move to the country and do a bit of homesteading.
It does wonders on the soul and puts into perspective how much the rest of "world" really matters.
As far as logic goes, it's a fools errand to try to attribute anything logical to a vastly illiterate "world"
Just take control of the things that you do have control over and set an example for others to follow.
Fuck the rest, they'll either figure it out, or sink or swim on their own merits.

That's obvious, they prohibit the natural rights of their own citizens constantly.
Who could prohibit them if they wanted to. They have way more bullets than anyone else.

There's no such thing as "constitutional rights"
The constitution does not grant any rights at all, it only recognize certain rights that already exist.
Every human has the same rights from birth. It's man that infringes upon these rights giving the illusion that the rights are granted from oppressors.
So in short. Every human has the rights that are guaranteed in the constitution.
The US may choose not to recognize them. Which in my opinion is a violation of said rights.

I've been a listener since episode 150 or so. I remember a lot of this happening but wasn't really into the Troll room or the Fediverse.
I really got involved in the fediverse when PC2.0 became a thing.
I heard all the NAS bickerings from Adam but they weren't important to me at the time.
Nowadays I love the PC2.0 community and I also love the new NAS community.
Most of you I disagree with, many of you I find deplorable, but I love that you are here and I enjoy lurking/interacting.

Maybe we should force our overlords to enact a maximum wage law. That should surly fix the problem.

I like this chart. This summer I grew lemongrass (citronella)
I made a strong tea out of it and put it in a spray bottle.
It worked great for mosquitoes.
Next year I will be planting a lot more of these herbs to try to combat ticks and chiggers.
Chiggers are arachnids so I imagine that that the oils that apply to spiders would also apply to them.

What we are witnessing is the Prussian school system at it's finest.
Children are not taught to think at all for themselves.
Grammar rhetoric an logic are no longer taught.
Barely anyone reads books anymore resulting in woefully inadequate vocabularies.
The less words one knows the less one can understand and describe the world around them.
Sprinkle in some government and woke indoctrination and presto!
Behold, a nation of retarded individuals.
🙁

John 1:1 would disagree with you. 🙂
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
I know that's not what you meant but I got a tickle out of it. 😀
Your insights about this topic are well founded. You and mostly only disagree regarding solutions.

That was a fun play on letters and words.
In nature diversity is critical for a healthy ecosystem.
See work done by Elaine Ingham and Matt Powers, and that's just for the soil.
Then for a larger picture see works by Bill Molisson and Geoff Lawton.
I think I understand your POV re: diversity and people / cultures.
Seems to me that our ecosystem has become unbalanced.
It will never re-balance unless govt gets out of the way. (pretty much my solution for everything) 🙂

I don't know surrendering liberty in order to have more liberty seems antithetical to liberty me.
No monarch is omnipotent so whatever policies that that monarch puts in to play will be flawed, misunderstood and eventually corrupted.
I prefer the laissez faire liberty approach. Market forces eventually lead to a state of equilibrium.
Of course I have no idea if it would work because it's impossible to try without potential dire consequences.

Your statement "Requires #monarchism" is false. I think monarchism is just one way to attempt it.
However it does require the majority of folks to be on the same page or at minimum reading the same book.
This will likely never happen because for some reason most people are happy being slaves. Which makes me sad. 🙁
My dream of a world where individual liberties are respected by all is just that, a dream.
Yet that doesn't stop me from trying to live my life in that manner.
