It is not applying any value judgment... I think that is appropriate for AI. It provides info and you can judge it based on your values 🤷🏻‍♂️ I see it as win for Gemini.

Well, internet started as government research. I hate government as much as anyone (my profile picture says death to all opressors/governments).
They will try to control it, that is without a question but I bet on their incompetency and ingenuity of people and say it will be net benefit for freedom. And my opinion is based on existing technology which, despite the fact it started as government research, they are not able to control it and it was net benefit for freedom.

Well I was giving an example that the fact that some data connection exists, doesn't mean governments will be able to controll it and use it against you.
Why would you assume they will be able to controll what is going on in the CB interface any more than they can control your internet connection?

Cause I hate phones altogether. I do not understand why would anyone want to interact with Internet through this small screen and your fat thumbs.
So I prefer web apps because I can run them on normal devices like my desktop. The CLI/TUI apps are better but I can see why it is not for everyone.

Yeah it is interesting - in astral.ninja it is showing as message from you with just `???` as content, in snort.social it shows up as message from every single one tagged. But since you sent this message to every dev, I guess the clients will be fixed quickly :D

A smart client could, in automatic mode, keep the list of all known relays and occasionally connect to each one of them to see what data the relay contains but default to the least amount of connections that would still get all the necessary data based on who the user follows.

That is weird - when I generate a new random key with `openssl rand -hex 32` and paste it to `noscl` and https://astral.ninja I get the same public key. But when I use my own key (also 32 bits, hex-encoded) I get a different public key. For obvious reasons I won't share my seckey but I don't know how to debug further :D

How did you set your private key there? I am using astral.ninja, and when I use `noscl setprivate <key>` it will generate a different pubkey than other services.
