Not condoned IRL the whole point is the fiction of it.
If people can consume gory media and not want to kill people, the same can be said for this. People have enough moral development to not want to do things of fiction and only consume it critically. People have the self control to not do things.

If someone is translating fiction into reality its not because of the media and the rest of the consumers, but the criminal who would've done it with or without a drawing of a furry.
