this lifestyle's starting to take a toll

i think that sometimes, when you try really hard at something, you end up doing a lot worse than if you didn't make much of an effort at all

i'm really bad at being a person

@nprofile…j6ac @nprofile…lssg i get what you mean. it seems most people are more food-oriented than me, but i only eat as much i need to. i can enjoy a decent meal, but i don't get cravings much, and a lot of the food that people consider "indulgent" is just excessive to me, sometimes to the point of being nauseating. like pizza or burgers are often so greasy i feel like it's gonna give me a heart attack before i even taste it. i especially am not a fan of meat in general

@nprofile…05fn ah, i can see why you wouldn't like it for fighting games. i just personally love the precise and satisfying feel of clicky buttons. like on the dsi or the 3ds, those were great

@nprofile…j6ac he just has this divine aura of positivity. he was one of the few people shinji could consider a true friend. he was the first person to outright say that he likes shinji for who he is. he didn't have that much screentime since he didn't survive for long, but for the entire time he was there, he was nothing but encouraging. and there's strong gay undertones in his and shinji's relationship. i mean, perhaps that's just what i want to believe, but it kinda seems that way

@nprofile…j6ac also great soundtrack. the original game had an excellent OST with songs from multiple vaporwave artists like 猫シ Corp. and NxxxxxS. idk about the exact soundtrack credits for this one but it seems good from what i've heard

have u heard about Broken Reality 2000? it just came out earlier this week. it's a collectathon adventure game with a vaporwave aesthetic set in an online virtual reality world with a dark secret. haven't beaten it yet but i'm having a lot of fun with it. it's a sequel to Broken Reality, which was released back in 2018. i followed the development of that game closely and played it on release day, it was also awesome. so far this one seems just as good

@nprofile…j6ac a former friend i hadn't spoken to in over a year contacted me. however, it seems they didn't intend to make amends, just to clear up a misunderstanding between us and a mutual friend. still, it has me shaken up that someone who ended their friendship with me rather coldly appeared just to make one statement.

@nprofile…xxfs i mean it does look swastika-like but i think you could easily pass it off as just a religious thing, like in the symbolism of southeast asian traditions
