Nostr is already decentralized, so no need for CDN or like IPFS. Now, a way to organize and publish nodes, maybe.
As for DNS issues, lokinet and ENS are options. DNS registry is a bit of a pain in general.

There's a few easy methods. First off, good luck stopping deer with that. They'll probably jump over it. Scent caps may help....maybe.
As for testing voltage, make sure your energizer is grounded good enough first. Ideally you have a volt meter for fences to check it, but if not....
Take an insulated jumper with the clips, connect one end to a short steel spike, fence, etc: a decent ground of some kind, not the energizer ground rod. Move the other clip towards the energized fence and try to watch for a spark. It should jump at least 1/4" from the wire to the clip. the same method can be used with a steel spike on a fence post (with an INSULTED grip).
If the wire isn't chewed up, it's probably physically okay. Not much else to check really.

Maybe so. The 2.4' spike those tiny chargers cane with didn't work well in dry areas. In my case, I had the fence with a very low bottom row. Sheep/goat on two rolls and poultry on another. That made it just about worthless on grass over a couple inches tall. Been using 4 stands of poly wire lately with mixed success. Easier to run anyway.
Gallagher B200's are nice. Put a smaller battery and it isn't too bad. Lost one of two (maybe) over 6-7 years. Premier's .5 joule smart charger died much faster, in part due to the stupid plastic panel face.
What speedright do you have? I need a replacement.

I have used Startpage before. It's still a Google front end, so don't expect unbiased results. That's the biggest issue I know of.
Next problem is that you're still using Google. A layer of privacy, I suppose, but it still makes use of and in a way, supports Google.

Freeze driers are cool. I have a harvest right.
My only gripe is the vacuum pump. Run milking machine oil in it and it is way cheaper and easier to clean. You can order parts for the JB pumps they used to use, not sure about the oil free units. They may have to be sent out for repair.

I’ve had writer’s block lately. Or at least that’s what I think I have. Whatever it is makes me feel very uncomfortable when I sit down to write. Everything looks mediocre at best, awful at worst. All the sentences look the same length. The words all seem small and common. The paragraphs look boring. The sentence structure is repetitive. I can’t stay on topic. I start thinking (and then writing) about somethings completely unrelated to the original point.
Which is precisely why I am going to write about nothing.

Awesome. If you can keep them in a fence and away from wild hogs, pigs seem like a great idea. I was told that in my neck of the woods, hogs were a very common food source back in the day because the size was easy to manage, the had quick growth, and were easy to feed. Something to keep in mind.
