The author is Grace Parkes, and I've read quite a few of her books (with books, you never know if the author is truly a woman or a male) and the writing is so uneven, some books are written in a very awkward manner, typos, sentences turned in a way someone who does not master totally the English language would write and I do not finish them, I'm either bored with the storyline, bland characters or embarrassed by the quality. In fact it's so uneven, not sure if it's not an umbrella author name for AI authors to practice or if it's what I call an author farm where newbies are trying out their hand at writing to see how it goes or something.
