I have been working with my current therapist for over a year now. We have great rapport and she really challenges me. We're starting to do some work with/on/around the inner child.
I'm trans. Before I realized that fact, I used to picture my inner child as a whiny little boy; awkward, self-conscious, afraid. I realized late last year, (after having been out to myself for almost 3 years!) that my inner child is actually a frightened, lost, timid little girl!
This has been quite the revelation and I am still kinda reeling from that discovery. I am coming to the awareness that I wasn't parented well, and that I was never able to parent myself well, either.
So, I'm learning. This song is my song for little Charlotte; to little Charlotte. It is my wish for her, my desire for her, my hope for her.

I have had 2 sessions of laser hair removal on my face. The dark hairs you see here are basically the only dark hairs left in my face. (Laser doesn't work on the greys). It's kinda miraculous, tbh. I'm thrilled with the progress.

I would kill for another show like The Expanse. Speculative fiction, space travel, tech, politics: that damn show has it all! I'm cautiously pessimistic about the reboot/sequel that may be coming. We'll see.
I really liked the miniseries they made out of Gibson's, The Peripheral. Perhaps something like that but from Neuromancer? Gibson's source material is good.
Doctorow's Homeland and Little Brother would be good fodder for the miniseries treatment, too, IMHO.

I need a tech day. I have a raspberry pi and a dual xeon server and I want to deploy #opensuse #microos on both. The goal is learning about this platform and trying out some different container management/runtimes. I'm thinking portainer/docker on the pi and podman/cockpit on the server box.
