Realistically, it hasn’t been around long enough to tell, and Nostr statistics are notoriously hard to verify anyway. I’m all for giving people options and letting them choose.

Google never offers a service without getting usable/sellable data or information out of it. People always forget that.

Dude, what's up with this crap lately with Google services being built into Nostr apps? Have you all lost your minds? If Google put out a key signer, you'd probably all jump right on it.
They are much more fiscally responsible than most countries. Having no military helps make that doable (though does raise questions about potential defense needs -- I don't recall much gun ownership for militia style defenses). I noticed a lot of people willing to work hard but also generally having much more of an attitude of abundance. Not the neurotic 'I need to work hard to have more' so much as 'I will work because I want a strong family and community.'
That slight shift in attitude can make for a hugely different set of results.
And of course, maybe I'm romanticizing. I was last there in the 90's as a teenager and obviously could only see what I saw. But we did get around a bit and it felt pervasive.
