I figure that, at best, it depends on the sort of transactions one does with it. If the locking script contains your public key (eg. P2PK), then it’s vulnerable to “at rest attacks” that extract the public key from the (publicly available) locking script, then use QC to compute the private key. If you’re using something like P2PKH, then you shouldn’t be vulnerable to the arrest attacks, but I don’t see why the hardware should give any added protection against “on spend attacks,” given that one still has to broadcast their PubKey with the transaction.

BitBox02 is purely additive and accumulative, like Core and Jade. It combines multiple sources so the result is at least as strong as the best one, with no bad fallbacks. Trezor also combines multiple independent sources, avoiding the single-point failure Coldcard had.
Still, I hesitate to recommend anything outside of the Core/Blockstream orbit. Incentives are bad and these little startups don't /cant take full responsibility.

Yet he made such a blunder that you didn't even have to be anywhere near his devices to compromise them.
