It's the same adorable town where I've made friends. It's a much less crazy hill, and I'll be able to walk Aurora around the apartment complex. I won't have to worry about yard maintenance, and it's $300 cheaper per month and I imagine much less for utilities because it's a smaller place. So a win is a win is a win!

It’s the cost of freedom. That’s part of why I think a NIP-05 is bad actually, it just encourages impersonation and bad behavior at scale. If someone is pasting your public key they can’t go wrong. But any kind of human readable username means you either have censorship or impersonation. Well, unless you have a blockchain involved like Namecoin.

I'm not sure when it started but I've been using simpmusic (fucking terrible name) for music and it stops playing in the background. It stops playing when I switch over to a different app or when I close the screen.
I fixed it by turning on exploit protection compatibility mode.
I never had to do that before. I don't know if it's a regression on GrapheneOS or on simp music, but I suspect it is graphene OS.

Nostr hardly had any functionality at all in 2022. Even 2024 was pretty bad.
I now have a much better user experience, with better uptime and much wider functionality, on Nostr than anywhere else on the Internet.
The claim that Nostr is degrading as a protocol defies anything that is happening on here.

Honestly the fact that there are even people who are willing to perform death on another human being who consider themselves and others consider them on the moral side of humanity is pretty scary.
