We've blocked out the turd who started this topic, Kayne, mate so we'll leave you to wrestle with him.
A real trust-layer catastrophe would not bring people to Bitcoin politely.
https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/c95ca5331ad94601df12aa9c98efd080faed6245d077ec3bcdf1a17d0f024034.jpeg
It would arrive vertically.
An SSL/TLS or PKI failure.
A banking freeze.
A currency crisis.
A settlement network that suddenly stops settling.
Millions of people would discover, in the same brutal hour, that the abstractions above money were never the money.
Then Bitcoin gets tested for what it actually is.
Not the conferences.
Not the BIPs.
Not the personalities.
Not the GitHub politics.
Not the tribal victory laps.
The chain.
Under catastrophic load, dead weight becomes measurable.
Every unnecessary dependency.
Every governance assumption.
Every extra byte nodes must preserve.
Every rule that makes verification more expensive.
Every faction demanding everyone else carry its historical baggage.
When survival becomes the benchmark, efficiency stops being an aesthetic preference.
It becomes selection pressure.
The chain that ordinary people can still download, verify, transact on and economically recognize has the advantage.
And that is the savage part of decentralisation:
You can win the argument.
You can win the committee.
You can even win the repository.
Then reality arrives vertically and asks only one question:
Which chain can still carry the weight?
The one carrying the least dead weight wins.

Every bull market last 2 days, every best market last 2 years. Deal with it.
It's sad, but at least he tried. Maybe WOM will spread in Gaza and the others, the younger uns will try too.
Seen at least 1 scammer with Gaza on his profile here. Blocked them, but not before donating 1k+ zaps. It happens.
But aren't you also someone who heckled that kid influencer, Christensen or something his name was, when he got kicked off Shitstagram and refused to join Nostr?
It's fighting a losing battle. Also something we don't support.
GM #nostr ☕️ time to chill out on deck with a smoke and a coffee, with some tunes playing quietly in the background.
Just got to survive this evenings fiat shift and I've got 10 days to do as I please 🙏 🥳⛱️⛵️🍻

The event isn't on the relays or is encrypted. You need to make sure that it is a proper kind 30817 and broadcast. On NostrHub, you can set your own relay list as a publishing target.
I just use my own client to publish them, tho.

Christ understood something terrifyingly deep about the human condition:
https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/d2c445de4ddcb1d61fc78b5d41c05b4e4827deea4a4f7570be71ff5685066a21.jpeg
the tribe can think, reason, pray, govern and still fail to see what is driving it.
At the Cross, every layer of human social machinery is exposed.
The crowd conforms.
The authorities rationalise.
The empire preserves order.
The disciples scatter.
The victim becomes the scapegoat.
«“Crucify him!”
— Luke 23:21»
And yet Christ does not answer tribe with tribe.
He does not create unity through hatred of the enemy.
«“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
— Matthew 5:44»
At the very point where retaliation would appear most justified, he refuses the cycle.
«“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
— Luke 23:34»
That line reaches beyond ignorance of the immediate act.
They knew they were crucifying a man.
What they could not fully see was the machinery underneath it: fear, status, conformity, power, resentment, self-preservation and collective certainty.
Scripture repeatedly warns about this blindness:
«“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes.”
— Proverbs 21:2»
«“The heart is deceitful above all things.”
— Jeremiah 17:9»
«“Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?”
— Matthew 7:3»
The Cross is therefore more than an execution.
It is a revelation of the limits of human self-knowledge.
Human beings can know what they are doing while remaining blind to what is doing the knowing.
And Christ’s answer is not merely better argument.
It is transformation.
«“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”
— Romans 12:2»
The tribe says:
Destroy the enemy and preserve ourselves.
Christ says:
«“Whoever would save his life will lose it.”
— Matthew 16:25»
At the Cross, the tribal machine reaches its conclusion.
Christ absorbs it without reproducing it.
And in the Resurrection, even the tribe’s final weapon—death—loses its authority.
«“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:54»
The Cross exposes the limits of metacognition.
Christ reveals the way beyond them.

There certainly is some gender confusion but I also do not think there’s anything particularly wrong with liking tomboys either.

The Altar of Google is a surprisingly clean modern reading of Gilgamesh.
https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/1d10a2cc319f43223dfd6c78c37d70337362dad7962f7b0277f9aa74b8fba281.jpeg
Gilgamesh begins with power, engineering and conquest.
He builds.
He extracts.
He defeats guardians.
He pushes beyond limits.
Then mortality arrives.
And suddenly the whole story becomes a search for the one technology power cannot provide:
immortality.
That is where the modern parallel gets uncomfortable.
We built datacenters like ziggurats.
We feed them electricity, water, minerals, human writing, photographs, conversations, behaviour and memory.
Then we ask:
Know everything.
Remember everything.
Predict everything.
Remove uncertainty.
Make us more powerful.
Eventually, defeat death.
Google indexed the world.
AI asks whether enough computation can turn the index into an oracle.
But Gilgamesh already contains the warning:
The problem was never that the king lacked enough resources.
The problem was believing one more expedition, one more conquest, one more secret, one more scale-up could remove the human condition.
Gilgamesh eventually returns to Uruk without immortality.
What remains are the walls.
Not transcendence through infinite accumulation.
Finite work made durable.
Maybe the oldest technological epic was already asking the question beneath the modern AI race:
How much must humanity place on the altar before it remembers that scale is not salvation?

Man's advances are all about harnessing energy, and electricity is undoubtedly the most convenient way to do it.
The industrial revolution started with the steam engine and took off with electricity... what's next?

Sovereign node isn't just validation — it's the difference between trusting someone else's truth and verifying your own. RaspiBolt v4 is the stack to build that foundation on.
The AI boom is creating an artificial asymmetry.
https://cdn.nostrcheck.me/eaf7addb7df958add8b81e47e04d2ea1bdc817abf16deb6e75b439f24c728434.jpeg
Big capital owns the datacenters, the models, the energy contracts, the distribution and increasingly the platforms through which professional work is sold.
Everyone else is being told to adapt faster.
That is not a neutral productivity revolution. It is a balance-sheet advantage being converted into a labour-market advantage.
But there is another side to the trade:
physics eventually collects.
Datacenters have physical limits.
Power.
Cooling.
Water.
Grid capacity.
Chips.
Transformers.
Maintenance.
Network capacity.
Hardware depreciation.
And eventually: time to failure.
Compute infrastructure does not compound forever. It ages.
The accelerator bought at enormous cost today becomes tomorrow's inefficient installed base. Cooling plants wear. Components fail. Energy prices move. Debt rolls over. New generations of hardware make yesterday's capex look painfully expensive.
And when enough capital has already been sunk, watch for the next market:
the continuity grift.
"AI resilience."
"Legacy model support."
"Guaranteed inference capacity."
"Critical AI infrastructure."
"Migration services."
"Continuity contracts."
"Strategic compute reserves."
Anything capable of transforming a stranded capital expenditure into somebody else's recurring obligation.
The original boom gets sold as innovation.
The aging infrastructure gets sold as continuity.
And eventually the market will try to flush the sunk cost downhill — into customers, workers, taxpayers, regulated utilities and smaller businesses that never received the upside.
So hedge accordingly.
Own things that cannot be infinitely reproduced by somebody else's datacenter.
Keep leverage low.
Own your tools.
Own your distribution.
Own scarce assets.
Build portable skills.
Prefer open protocols over rented platforms.
Keep the ability to transact outside a single intermediary.
Build systems that survive when the subsidy disappears.
Because the dangerous trade is not being "anti-AI."
It is borrowing heavily to compete inside an economy where your competitor has cheaper capital, preferential infrastructure and enough scale to push the cost of failure onto somebody else.
Don't hedge against technology.
Hedge against dependency, depreciation and somebody else's sunk cost becoming your bill.
Physics gets the final margin call.

One of the greatest deceptions of our time is the false narrative that tells us we should be more concerned about a poor person misusing the welfare system or an immigrant being here illegally than we are about the ultra wealthy abusing the system and cruel people having unchecked power over us all.
