There's a bit too much propaganda in the Bitcoin space, but I was born in communism, and I probably get irritated too easily. "With Bitcoin, we won't have wars!" We kill each other long before central banks or any kind of bank, for that matter. Coming back to my original post, we built great things through spilling blood and inducing guilt, but, being far enough in time, we enjoy a high degree of "innocence".

I agree with @npub1aqa…237n , in that nostr probably won’t all of a sudden dominate the social media world, the main reason is that nostr has more fine-tuning that can be done on the user end.
Large platforms offer more convenience, and the difference between seeing more and having your posts seen by more users is simply a matter of paying more and letting the platform do all of the back-end work.
Here, there are many clients from which you can choose, and you are free to try out many different ones and see which ones you like. Nostr is more like a language, with different clients, speaking different regional dialects. The benefit is that there are so many options, many of them are free, that can help you to fine-tune your experience here.
The downside is that it’s not simply a matter of paying more to get more.
The upside is that you don’t have to be wealthy in order to have fun here.
Traditional social media is more like cooking with a microwave, where the only thing you can adjust is the amount of time your food spends inside it.
Nostr is more like cooking on an open flame. You can really flex your creative muscles here.
There’s a bit of a learning curve, but we do appreciate you being here!!
