Бог по своей природе добр, сострадателен и вечно милостив. И никогда не требуется, чтобы на Отца оказывалось какое-либо влияние, чтобы вызвать Его любящую доброту. Потребностей творения вполне достаточно, чтобы обеспечить полный поток нежного милосердия Отца и Его спасительной благодати. Поскольку Бог знает все о своих детях, Ему легко простить. Чем лучше человек поймет своего ближнего, тем легче ему будет простить его и даже полюбить.
Только распознавание бесконечной мудрости позволяет праведному Богу служить справедливости и милосердию одновременно и в любой данной вселенской ситуации. Небесного Отца никогда не раздирают противоречивые отношения к своим вселенским детям; Бог никогда не становится жертвой антагонизмов отношений. Всезнание Бога неизменно направляет Его свободную волю в выборе такого вселенского поведения, которое совершенно, одновременно и одинаково удовлетворяет требованиям всех Его божественных качеств и бесконечных качеств Его вечной природы.
Милосердие – естественное и неизбежное порождение добра и любви. Добродушие любящего Отца не могло помешать мудрому служению милосердия к каждому члену каждой группы Его вселенских детей. Вечная справедливость и божественное милосердие вместе составляют то, что в человеческом опыте можно было бы назвать справедливостью.
