That's what I do on pipe. I just roll off anything over 300k events, or with an overdue expiration tag or deletion request. That's plenty useful and that keeps it from exploding.

Back in 2023 at the height of the Ordinals stupidity, I questioned whether filtering spam out of blocks might be a solution, and I came to the conclusion that the cure would be worse than the disease, so I turned to just mocking the people who wasted their time and money on that nonsense. I figured they would eventually get bored, or priced out, and move on to the next grift. I don’t know where they all went and honestly, I don’t care.
Which of you also have working Tor or I2P addresses in your relay lists?

Decent podcast, would have preferred to hear a lot more about the treasure hunts. Maybe I'm just burned out but I don't really care about hearing every broken record story of how they discovered Bitcoin.

In meiner Siedlung war Chaos. Garagen sind weggeweht, Dächer abgedeckt. Bis Sonntag um 22 Uhr haben die Menschen in der Siedlung alles wieder ordentlich gemacht - ganz ohne Staat und Bezahlung.
Aber der Staatsbetrieb hat es in 18 Stunden nicht geschafft, trotz vorzüglich bezahlter TVÖD Mitarbeiter, die Strecke freizumachen,obwohl am Montag morgen natürlich sehr viele Pendler zur Arbeit mussten.
Es ist ein Trauerspiell.
You are confusing something. most of the men already are in Germany enjoying our social system. Restoring their teeth, buying new clothes and looking like a caricature of the western clothing style. Their kids harass the German kids, they can't properly behave. All of them have the newest scooters, and newest clothing while other German kids still have nothing because the state taxes the money of their parents to give it to those lazy bitch asses.
They have to kidnap the young generation for this war because the ones over 30 just fled "their" country to "live" in Germany.
And: Nope it is not racism or that I am jealous. My parents came from poland to Germany and we had to take care of integrating ourselves.
Man I still know how my parents told me: "We are in Germany now. It's different here. We HAVE to make sure that we learn their language and habits."
I was afraid that if we, for example, do not separate the waste according to their system, we might have to leave. Or if my grades in school were too bad. Or if my parents lose their job.
To be clear: The government did not told us that we have to go when we do not integrate. But it was the feeling that we as children had.
And. Ow? They just come here and can do how they please? That is unjust to all the generations that had to do some work to be welcomed here.
Matter of fact I don't know any polish people my age that don't vote AfD. Most turkish people that came here before 2000 feel the same. Mostly because they feel that the get thrown into the same pot that those new Islamist "refugees" are in. And they do not want to pay for the fundamentalist Islamists they left their homeland in the first place.
Nah. Ppl are dumb. I can't afford to turn people away by exposing their stupidity when they misinterpret the "fee"

This 🤝 I think it's a very generational thing. It's the old folks I'm having issues with. Trying to teach Jr that we keep some things but it's also okay to pass it on to get loved by someone else.
If you have existing servers you can setup your own relay for free. If they are not Internet facing, you can still use them to backup your data. A HAVEN or WoT relay from @npub1utx…50e8 here would be a good option:
