or #Bitcoin Core with Ordisrespector very accessible for plebs who are running their own #bitcoin nodes.
I am not sure what are your thoughts about inscriptions/ordinals but this is at least SOCIAL ATTACK on #bitcoin community and it could get really worse if we don't act on it. We could be opening up ourselves for future state coordinated attack(s).
I hope you understand the seriousness of the situation and roll out one of the mentioned filter versions of #bitcoin core ASAP.

SPAMS WILL STILL BE VALIDATED BY YOUR NODE BUT BY USING FILTERED VERSION, YOU ARE MAKING IT HARDER FOR SPAMMERS TO SPAM BITCOIN NETWORK. YOU ARE ALSO USING YOUR SELF-SOVEREIGNTY ON YOUR NODE WHEN YOU USE POLICY SETTING FEATURE.

EVERY SOFTWARE ALWAYS HAS (SOME) BUG (SPAM IN OUR CASE) NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU OPTIMIZE/IMPROVE THAT SOFTWARE. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING ON WITH BITCOIN BUT IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. YOU CAN ALWAYS FIGHT BACK AND MAKE IT HARDER FOR BUG (AKA SPAM) TO EXIST.

Can you guys make it somehow easy for plebs like myself to run Bitcoin Knots in your OS so, people can run it with minimal effort? I would suggest coordinating with people like Luke Dashjr (npub1lh2…a9nk) , GrassFedBitcoin (npub1wnl…n3wr), jack (npub1sg6…f63m) if you have any questions about code itself. Start9 (npub126n…e9ll) took this request very seriously and they already started working on it.
I believe that this step could be very important for overall health of the #bitcoin network. Since a lot of your customers are self-sovereign bitcoiners, you may want to think about them and make this as easy and accessible as possible.

I think your videos will definitely clear lot of confusion around this and it will also help spreading the awareness. I am aware that Knots is not magic solution but I think it's one step in the right direction.
Let's just try our best to make sure node runners don't struggle to run their own nodes since validating spam is quiet resource intensive.
Currently only 0.37% of total nodes is running Bitcoin Knots nodes and I think with the help of some of the people I tagged here, we can take this percentage way higher.
