Because I value your opinion on many differernt facets of bitcoin being an open protocol. So when you say that symbiosis and cooperation leads to everyone's benefit I find this in interesting to contrast that statement against BIP300 and the fracturing that I read of late. It's natural curiosity that readers of your content would like to know your thoughts on such a divisive element of the ultimate open protocol.

I might be on my own here on #nostr but part of why Bip300 is a good thing, is because it replaces cringe twitter toxicity with actual L1 ossification. Good for #bitcoin maxis and good for the overall ecosystem.

Not only is Pete clearly a daily user of bitcoin, he uses #monero when he had to recently to make a donation. He uses #tether when he needed to in South America because he had to. He's a pragmatic user of freedom tools who's done more for the space and his home town then you'll ever do if your lifetime.
Typical lazer-eyed maxi. Can't wait until Bip300 is MASF and you have trouble understanding why.

So Binance is delisting XMR. Will be very interesting to see price discovery over the following month without paper XMR. This is the end goal for #bitcoin.
Huge bullish sign for XMR adoption imo.

I served 3.5 years and can honestly say half the screws thought the same as your mate. They were more fucked up than we were as at least we had no option to go home to our loved ones each night.
That was the main resentment between us inmates and those that chose to come there every day in exchange for weekly slavenotes.
I had no sympathy though and it brought us all great comfort knowing they'll all still be there long after we left.
No offence to you but your mate deserves his prison. The prison system sucks in people that can't handle living in normal society and that includes the screws.

Lightning never tasted so good on
Nostr.
Apart from tinkering with nodes and user experience of various apps, I've always used layer one. I like finality, the utxo model, my key management software, the security and the mempool. I like to explore the blockchain and have low time preferences. It's fair to say I have had zero use for lightning... Until nostr.
Forget the high fee environment that we are currently in due to Inscriptions, nostr gives me a reason to use lightning through the enjoyment of tipping sats to random orange heads.

Officially left twitter and experimenting with nostr. Vibes are indeed high, the ability to tip is profound and looking forward to learning about how this protocol can help on-board precoiners.
