Just got back after a month away and my miners weren’t mining and my node was down, with a corrupt block I had to manually delete. Has this happened to anyone else? Running core v.28 still. #asknostr

Yeah, I have a love/hate relationship with Whitney Webb. I think she's right on a lot of things, but brings too much nihilism with it. I don't blame her though, with all of the things she covers.
I'm very early into the book, having only gone through three chapters. So far, I think he's quite on the money on what the powers that be are trying to do.

Yeah, I could see that happen. I do think we'll eventually reach a point where people who have self custody Bitcoin will have a massive advantage over those who don't. We're arguably already seeing it today.

If I was to "invest" into a comic book series today, I'd look into getting the full Absolute Batman series.
I think it'll have a very long lifespan and will be adapted into movies and other mediums.

Fair enough.
I have a different perspective on it. While I run my own lightning node, I also use some custody lightning and liquid services.
Also, I think the vast majority of people don't actually want to self custody, even if I wish they did.
It's much easier to stick through the hard times, when you believe in what you're doing... Even if others don't see it yet.
At *what point* is time "infinite?"
Tail emission is NOT "infinite supply" and it's intellectually lazy to claim those are similar.
I sympathize with the BIP-110 Bitcoiners. I run Knots, but disagree with their proposal. I just hope they stick around and continue being part of the movement.
