Hey friend. Take a look at https://git.devvul.com/asara/well-goknown
The code in the alby dir should be enough to get a lnaddr setup with albyhub without having to make an alby account.
I don't think my zap receipts work yet but they might.
Other than that it should allow you to set up multiple lightning addresses backed by various wallets in alby.
Let me know if it works for ya!
Seems like the Alby lightning address may also rely on the relay in some way. Will have to try to figure out what is going on and if it is possible to still use their lightning address without their relay..
Must have, I use LNbits for incoming zaps. To mitigate this issue with Alby
Self-hosted Alby Hub has a RELAY environment variable that can be set to specify the relay used for NWC. I’ve built a strfry relay on a cheap VPS which I am using with my Alby Hub so I can now send NWC zaps without reliance on Alby’s relay. Seems to work well.
I’m not sure if I will keep this set up but after the issues with Alby a few days ago I wanted to confirm this works. There is still the reliance on Alby for the lightning address to receive zaps though.
Hype!
I still hope Josh Hart gets a call up to the all star game at some point in his career. Dude is a beast and possibly the lynchpin of the Knicks.
Big news for Knicks Nostr:
Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns are the first Knicks duo to start the NBA All-Star Game since Walt Frazier and Earl Monroe in 1975 🏀
3% over 12 hours. Running v0.1.2-alpha
Pokey should keep even lower than 1% the battery usage since latest multi-account release.
Anybody experiencing the opposite? Please make sure you are in the latest version
G2 refills are awesome. Get yourself a nice pen and just keep buying refills.
I'm a fan of tactile turn pens.
I'm a big fan of their bolt actions. https://tactileturn.com/collections/bolt-action-pens
I've had mine for years now and as long as I don't lose it I think I'll have the same pen forever.
My pen says Pilot G-2 07 but there is no way its as premium as the name sounds
writing with a good ball point pen is so much more satisfying than using a pencil
Thank you for the report. Do you have google services enabled?
I'm on graphene and it works fine!
Probably not. I am not sure how @nprofile…34p3 handles their location services.
I will need to make an option for folks to manually insert.
@nprofile…pyug does the "around me" work on de-googled phones? The location spinner never finishes even though the GPS has a lock.
Hm. In my app it shows one post (that is absolutely nearby) but its from Sept 2022.
That is a big range!
For the lower end some heltec v3. For the higher end, some nodes built using the rak4631!
An RTL-SDR dongle could be fun too.
Yep, posts will only show if they mark the location you are in. Those location-exclusive posts will not show in any other feed.
This is the new NIP-22. So, there is literally no posts anywhere yet.
I don't get it. Will only notes marked with the geotag show up in the around me feed? I've never marked any of my notes with the geo-location tag. Does that mean no one will see any of my notes on their around me feed?
I checked mine local city and it was empty. I changed my location to your city in the USA using a fake gps app and I looked at the feed and see some of your posts but not all of them. I see a couple other posts from other users but not much.
If you are using today's version of @nprofile…s8dt go to the Around Me feed and say hello to your neighbors (+/- 5km, 3 mi). We are going to be using local feeds to onboard new users in the future.

What sort of #AmateurRadio #HamRadio toys could I ask for as holiday presents that are in the $25-100 range?
I'm interested in #LoRa and #Meshtastic and #PacketRadio and other #DigitalModes.
I've got a circa 2014 Baofeng talkie walkie that works surprisingly well so I'm set for hand held. Mobile radios are more $$$ than the gift price range I'm looking at.

Anarchism is a leftist ideology. There are plenty of us here.
Are there leftists on Nostr?
Noticed even on nostr, the leftists are removing pronouns and rainbow flags from their bio
Nature is healing, maybe people are learning all that virtue signaling is insufferable
Awesome find! Just tested on one of my nodes and it worked great. Thanks!
Where's the best place to watch the election numbers come in without dummies putting their useless opinions on top?
Looking further and it seems like it only happens once for my private relay but auth.nostr1.com is causing the loop
Do you still need an alby account to run hub?
Having the same issue. I am using a personal relay that requires auth. Closing the app (swiping it up) and then opening it seems to stop the client auth loop.
Just keeps going.

Confirmed that OTA upgrades work on Android but not exactly as in the Meshtastic documentation.
The NRF DFU app from the play store does actually work despite the documentation saying that it doesn’t. I needed to change a couple of settings in the app before the firmware update would complete without errors:
1. Set “Packet Receipt Notification” to on and packets to 10.
2. Disable “Request High MTU”

Android OTA is still broken sadly. Even when using the older (recommended) version of nRF Connect
#Meshtastic Tip
OTA firmware upgrades via Bluetooth are a useful way to update RAK4631 nodes that are in difficult to access locations. They don’t work well from iOS devices however as I discovered the hard way.. The firmware update failed and left the node in DFU mode needing to be connected via USB to update. Apparently this is a common issue trying to update using iOS. I haven’t tested an OTA update using Android yet but I have heard from others that it works well.
