I wouldn't say I'm religious myself. I don't tell people to go to church nor do I advertise on what I do there if and when I go. Again, this is sacred stuff for a bunch of reasons. I try not to mock anyone's belief system.
I've used religion as a vehicle to get me to places. I didn't know that at the time. Only in retrospect it made sense to me. Despite corruption of the institutions and everything I still believe it's a net positive. Churches and whatnot make you think of stuff and that's enough. It's a solo journey for the most important part anyway.
The meme about the stack of books is real because the smartest and dumbest people have reached the same conclusion over time. This is hilarious to me and proof enough life is ironic.
Overall I suspect I'm wrong at least partially in my reasoning, if this makes any difference. It's not a disclaimer, it's a fact. Obviously I wish I knew which is which and do better. I'm racing only with myself. To be perfectly honest, I'm not really sure other people are real.
