There’s plausibly an infinite amount of Z-cash in the orchard pool, & presumably older pools.
As far as I’m aware The bug primarily affects orchard pool though.
They implemented a mechanism called turnstile which allows only for the amount inputed to be outputted.
Unfortunately, there is no mechanism to verify the validity of coins exiting however they are limited to what entered, if an attacker did exploit an inflation bug it would leave legitimate Z-cash locked in the orchard pool.
Only 21 million Z-cash are allowed to exist.
If you are worried about that then don’t accept any transactions from the orchard pool.
Only accept transparent ledger sends, and ironwood transactions.

Bitcoin was intended to be open source, and acknowledged that other coins would exist in some shape, manner, or form, as either what we call today layers, or drivechains, or presumably separate coins.
It’s plausible that if Satoshi is still around that he might be open to exploring different variations of his intended end goal.
In the Whitepaper he mentions Adam Back’s Hashcash which most likely indicates he knew that just as he made a variation of that work, that others at some point would also make variants of his work too.

The only bad thing about the Nostr . com and Nostrich . org websites is that they lack distinct branding.
Nostr is a protocol, and “nostrich” is a term used to describe Nostr users. So when you’re talking about either website, it can get confusing. If you say “Nostr,” people think you mean the protocol. If you say “Nostrich,” people think you mean Nostr users in general.
You basically always have to say “Nostr . com” or “Nostrich . org” to make it clear that you’re talking about the websites.
It reminds me of Crypto . com. Terrible branding. A brand should have a distinct name that people can immediately associate with the website or product.

Hey Nostr,
Over the 5 days starting last week I made a simple Homestead sim game. I did not finish it because I wanted to pivot into another direction, but the game is somewhat playable.
I thought I'd share what I have, even though it's missing stuff.
If you would like to try it out, I'd love to see what you think. This is my first game ever made.
I have since pivoted to making an open world MMO game based on this one, but with better graphics, playable characters etc...

Nā ʻUhane Māhoe Huki Pū i ke Ola , is the Hawaiian name given to this image of a pair of spiral galaxies locked in a mutual gravitational embrace. Some 200 million light-years distant toward the high flying constellation Pegasus their spectacular, galactic scale merger is captured in sharp detail in the image from the 8.1 meter Gemini North telescope on Maunakea, Hawai‘i. The galaxy pair, known as NGC 7253 and Arp 278 , was chosen as a target, researched, and given a Hawaiian name by high school students in the joint Gemini Observatory and University of Hawaiʻi Project Hōkūlani internship program. The name translates to "The Twin Spirits Pulling Together Creating Life". That's both culturally and astronomically appropriate for galaxy collisions that trigger a cosmic maelstrom of star formation from galactic reservoirs of elemental building blocks of life. These merging galaxies are found within a region of Pegasus identified as the Hawaiian navigational constellation Ka Lupe o Kawelo .
