It's about a year old and it's a pigeon pea.
I know it's a long game, so part of me doesn't want to touch it too much, but it really went through a growth spurt after I put it in that new pot a few months ago.
It's kind of hard to tell from that picture, but I'm starting to get some budding where I bent in a straightaway there, and I'm hoping once those branches start to come in, maybe I can slowly start dialing back the total height and work on canopy.
Anf it's fine, man. I got no idea what I'm doing either. I still have some seeds of other trees that I want to start, but they're much longer germination periods to figure out if they'll even sprout.

I will absolutely concede that a single jurisdiction cannot regulate Bitcoin to death.
I'm concerned about usability from *my own* perspective, because I'm not going to change jurisdictions to be able to use Bitcoin.
And if we look at it from that perspective, hashrate discussions are beside the point.
It is much more relevant whether or not the vendor I want to transact with can accept my Bitcoin.
If for regulatory reasons my vendors cannot accept my nonkyced self custodied sats (only cucked Bitcoin allowed) it isn't useful for me.
It's easy to see a future where the dominant jurisdiction prevents users escaping to bitcoin through friction and regulation, not through outright bans.
They stop it at the banking layer, not at the hash layer.
And if there's a competing BRICS type jurisdiction, they have the same concern of users escaping into a neutral money.
I don't understand why they would welcome Bitcoin and have positive Bitcoin regulation.
Isnt it in EVERY states interest to block the on / off ramps?
Let it exist as an economically insignificant, yet functioning, Network somewhere.

You can just mark never auth in the relay permission screen (we had a bug in that in the last version, but the upcoming one should allow this)
Are we building the best WoT Search relay out there? Probably.
A relay that has everything: spam, scams, slop... all of it. But REQs and Search only return results from each user's wider network (follows-of-follows, 12 hops deep, minus mutes and reports). So, if a scammer or bot network uses the relay, they'll get the scam network. If a real human uses it, they'll get the network around them. Everyone stays happy.
And since it uses NIP-85 trust providers, you can choose any algorithm to score your network by any provider. Just subscribe to one and it will work automatically.
It's your WoT, not the relay operator's WoT.
It fixes Nostr without centralizing anywhere.

Enki, I don't know which tree you have and maybe for you it's different but imo I wouldn't touch it yet. Not until the trunk is the size you want.
My plan is to wait let me trees grow freely for a few years up until the trunk is the size I'm looking for. Once I have it I'll cut it all from the trunk leaving no branches.
Only once branches start coming back will I start thinking about trimming. I don't really have a plan for trimming just yet because I won't concern myself with this for a few years.
Cutting the trunk lie that allows you to create a rapper in the trunk which will give your tree a very old look very early (relatively speaking) in it's growth.
