I use mastodon/fedi and tried to pitch the decentralized music stuff and when people see BTC they rage quit.

Oh, yes, absolutely. I did see that this interview is from a year ago. But it was especially relevant for me, since I was getting away from mainstream social media about 3 months back, and decided to try Mastodon ... but it was slow and clunky and not too intuitive, i guess ... but it got me used to the idea of decentralization. It was during this time that someone suggested Nostr. and yeah ... two months later, there is no going back. Nostrverse is far superior imho ... and yes@ The independent music advocacy, of course 🤘

This is very interesting. I’ve been using alp for a while now, and I did have some issues with it, but none of the ones you listed. I was using the 6 mg, but now I’m using the 3 mg. I used to use Zyn and Black Buffalo, and I didn’t have any problems with them

Amethyst is using an older (deprecated) version of the Concord spec due to refusing to update unfortunately, so it has compatibility issues.
For Vector, either on GitHub or our Community is perfectly fine ( https://vectorapp.io/hub - that option will absolutely be added in the next update, just a client limitation as we focus on making the app easy for non-Nostr users. 🙏

granted, and nip29 offers the infra needed to solve it socially: three admins, with three backups in three different locations on different mediums. E2EE wpould be cool to have though!
What client was that? That is not the intended experience, all members of a Dissolved community can still permanently see the history, the Owner client of course may locally delete it, as they requested to, but members see the full, locked history forever.
