Let me know if you have questions. In order to make the UX reasonable, there is a "curation" layer - but it's entirely permissionless. Anyone can be a curator by opting in, I don't/can't gatekeep that. But the client enforces that layer for display because it needs some way to scope down the universe to something purposeful.

Tlon (urbit) released an update to their app that makes it 90% focus on talking to your agent. Urbit is now completely irrelevant.
They never even fully leaned into the human social aspect. That’s the sad part. I would rather have used it as a private and safe social network for close friends and family, but they never let you post anything.
I try not to judge too harshly. For all we know, some of the Tlon leadership got sick or something. But I gave advice around this and friendly chastisement several times. Whatever.

It's not a multimillion dollar payout for one.
Secondly, I have built a reputation that literally no one else in my area has matched. I would not sell my clients off to someone else that will absolutely not do things the way I do them.
My own stubborn morals and ethics built this reputation and it's not for sale.
I want my sons to finish growing up with that as a lesson. A solid work ethic is virtuous and there's more to life than just chasing dollars.

That's why I created the "Toy Identity" option on the Inkan home page. People can create a throwaway identity in a few minutes and play around with it. If they get used to it and like it, they may at some point get around to creating a real airgapped identity.
I'll take a closer look at the Foundation devices, they look very attractive.
