I am relieved, but not without conflict.
Real-world regulatory colleges do not accomplish their intended mandates or come close to their ideals. In my observation, they are often just another example of a way-too-big over-extending government into all aspects of life. Freedom is sacrificed on the altar of safety.

Medications either targets symptoms or the illness itself.
Symptom management medication is over-prescribed and commonly reinforces the unhelpful idea that we should be free from the consequence of our actions. Nature however determines that we are not. Symptoms serve a function of alerting to fundamental behaviour change needed.
I mean this message of course with the caveat that there are exceptions to this rule.

The truth is, sometimes thoughts mislead us. You can't entirely rest your trust on them. They take us away from what's true or what matters, and lead us only to immediate gratification and away from pain.
We think from our of our varying states (hungry, irritable, sad, anxious, despondent).
Beliefs, goals, and values are truer, and not as momentary and suggestible as thoughts. They are based on higher more pure and unreachable things that are less given to momentary destabilization. They are firmer to base your speech and actions upon.
Be present, open up, and do what matters.

It's multifactorial. There are plenteous government and establishment media psyops interested in taking way focus on future, freedom, and progeny. You are being deluded into believing that children are thieves of joy, when in fact the opposite is true. Our ancestors knew better.
Then there's the fact that reproduction and family-raising right require tremendous moral compass, power, and self-controlled committed action. This is far more available and thus more common among religious conservatives. Psy-op'd people are more inclined to think instant gratification and absence of pain is the way to happiness. That's animal-like.
For the modern person it's safer in many ways to decline to take a risk unless an individual and their monogomous partner (husband/wife) can be trusted to keep their word and faithfulness through thick and thin - a trait that's in high demand and low availability today. Who can find a noble woman/man worthy of this commitment and investment, to carry and bear their children?

I got zapped by @npub1jg5…6n8n. A part of me is geeking out. Another part of me gets it.
When you think of it, corporate zaps for plebs are an excellent marketing and customer engagement strategy. Loyalty, value, and brand or cause-positive speech can be instantly rewarded.
Bitcoiners are irrationally excited about zaps. I get it, it's awesome. It's also notable that the monetary cost is nil. We are getting excited instead about adoption and novelty. In my own example, blockstream has reinforced my positive attribution of the brand, and made me more likely to consume or purchase their products. Well done!
This is extrinsic positive reinforcement. Zaps modify human behaviour through immediate reward. This is a good thing and is a great example of rudimentary behavioural psychology at work.

Bitcoin's fundamentals enable us not to fixate on money.
Without it, we're trading our time with the state with diminishing returns for a unit of value they can print out of thin air. The funny thing is, Bitcoin is such a revolutionary fix that it's worth quite a lot of devotion to discussion, propogation, and thought! So here we are thinking about money again.

Buckle up, mini history on the New Testament canon and how it compares to Bitcoin ahead. 🎓⚡
Michael Kruger https://www.michaeljkruger.com/ New Testament scholar and professor at Reformed Theological Seminary wrote a book called 'Canon Revisited' which re-conveyed the historic Protesant view that the New Testament scriptures were received and recognized by the church independently separately from one another, and later clarified together as each individual church in each community communicated with one another by letter and visitor bringing news and resources (think Bitcoin nodes confirming transactions!!). Some false writings (Gospel of Peter, etc.) did not receive approval by the churches when they were compared to the rest of established canon and other trustworthy and verified NT writings. Shockingly, there was very little initial disagreement in the living generation, because the scriptures previously written were effective verification tools (like a full blockchain download vetting new transactions). The Apostle Paul praises the Bereans for searching the scriptures to verify if what he says is true (Acts 17:11) rather than by accepting it by his own credentials. Luke's gospel for example challenges listeners to verify what he wrote by consulting living witnesses, providing their names and addresses (communities) whenever possible, though sometimes refraining when anonymity was required to keep the witness safe. (Decentralization)
This is in total juxtaposition to the Roman Catholic model that posits that the scriptures were verified by the central authorities of the church. (Centralization)
As Protestants, we affirm the scriptures formed and validate the legitimacy of the churches, not that the institutional hierarchical and centralized church (of Rome) validates the scriptures.

Centralization is really only a problem when the central authority is affected by sin - which is universal in our epoch. Decentralization may seem like a moral good in all times and places from this vantage point, especially if you're in this nostr/Bitcoin space, BUT authority is supposed to be good, actually. Consider a model marriage and family to get a microcosm of this (Eph. 5)
