I know for a fact that every other hardware and software wallet manufacturer is auditing their own code right now, but what if they do find a similar vulnerability? If they find they have a similar problem, the moment they tell their customers to move their funds, hackers will beat most users to the punch.
CC was fine until the bug got discovered, but even if they had found it themselves before the hacker, they can't get the word out without letting the hackers know. This was set in stone the moment they ever shipped a device with the bug. Even if they noticed it a year later, that would only help devices after that point.

Living on borrowed time, man, and most people still walk around like they got a lease with no end date. Nobody’s gonna tell you when it’s up.
You don’t just wake up wise one day. You notice sh*t. Some mistake you made, something someone said that pissed you off till you actually sat with it and realized, damn, they were right. Doesn’t feel like learning in the moment. Feels like a bad day, or some argument you can’t stop replaying in your head.
Then a few years go by and you’re just… not the same person anymore. Can’t even point to the day it happened, cause there wasn’t one. You just kept paying attention when it would’ve been easier not to.
So pay attention. Whatever it hands you, take the lesson and keep moving.

Hey @npub1m2j…3wgu I'm back on the #NATEOAS train and this time it's far, far, far deeper, weirder and more potent than last time. I can't wait to share this with you. I've been using it as my daily-driver productivity tool - basically a mini computer, maybe like a palm pilot, but omnipresent and malleable - and collaborating with AI agents through it (to build it).
I personally would have had at the very least a message profusely apologizing and asking to give time for reviewing the issue. I completely understand the need to choose the verbiage wisely and having legal team approve it, but a basic “sorry” is at least warranted. But not one peep from NVK who traditionally didn’t mind opening his big mouth to spew his opinion. How this has been handled speaks further volumes to his shitty character.
