The execs did freak out when they met me in the first two months because "the job is beneath you" and so I'm more likely to quit. Nah! Not the case!

Given a long enough timeline, I don't see on-chain being viable for smaller transactions anyway.
It's true. I'm surprised it's only 34% but I guess there's probably a lot of very large old UTXOs sitting in legacy addresses that haven't moved since before Taproot was rolled out.

Too much risk with #BTC revealed. #Coldcard could signal bad actors playing a long hack game. #AI is showing everything #digital is vulnerable. #BIP-110 showed #bitcoin is software that will be changed and those changes are controlled by big corps (of miners, Saylor and Blackrock flavors). Bottom line is like a Piccaso painting only rich can apparently now safely secure. Worse they have no issue making paint modifications all the time to the original! And now data center power demands will cause more critical eyes on energy hogging POW protocols.
When I first started with bitcoin I stored my crypto on paper wallets with qr codes and legacy addresses. I rode bitcoin down the last crash and waited it out when it bottomed in mid teens back up towards new highs. This time there is a big difference. Most regular people and businesses have no interest in it. I come from a marketing background and this looks more like brand / tech rejection. Kind of like people losing interest for good.
I cashed out today at a small loss and surprisingly don't plan to return ever. Only thing I'd be interested in is a quantum secure peer to peer token that is exchange independent and accepted by my local grocery stores and fuel stations.
I can't see how bitcoin will be useful for anyone other than big international Wall Street entities. The libertarian/privacy/freedom tech communities need to come up with a better AI proof solution now.

Yeah 23. Was like 40$ for a L1 to go through. How embarassing to explain to newbs that this is what Bitcoin is for. Yeah L1 volume has been meager since.

A git repo can also be replicated but a client wouldn't subscribe to several, so you would have centralization there.
Accountability is not integral to git neither.

That's not doing business. I'm trying to grow this parallel economy. It honestly feels like there used to be more P2P commerce back in the day than there is now. It's gotten stagnant. Everybody decided it was an investment asset instead of cash. Very sad to see. Monero on the other hand is growing a flourishing underground economy.

There are two types of people...I am not this type but I love the tidiness (tidyness 🤔) of it as well. (too lazy to look up the correct spelling, not too lazy to type out an explanation of my laziness though...)

True. But I think it is not a nostr nor a internet thing. It is just a social behavior thing.
And I actually hope, that more people are willing to express their opinion. And on the same time I would like to see more people to know that they are not flawless. So they are most critical towards their own certainty. This leads to rational discussions.
Many minorities are never heared, because they feel without value. I say everyone has got inherent value. And everyone is needed to make our society complete.
