Running an email server is much much more difficult than running a Nostr relay if we're being real.
Email servers are so notoriously difficult even the most hardcore self-hosting types usually tell you don't bother.
Whereas if someone can use a VPS they can host a relay with Blossom, I did it in 30 mins earlier today and wrote a guide helping others do it too.
Plus Nostr is full of cypherpunk tech nerds. There's a massive community of Bitcoin node runners on here. This is exactly the type of crowd who would self-host something especially if you can just throw it up on a VPS with Docker.
But a lot of this stuff is new. That's why I like putting info out there. Telling people yo, host this thing, put the URL into your client, and it just uses your own instance.
I wrote this for people who are new to self-hosting so explained simple stuff, it's still very easy.

Can confirm that StartTunnel works great. Am routing all the inbound traffic to my node through it and running a relay from it too. Zero ports open on my router.
