Agree. The goal is to present something extremely simple for normies to help them understand that Bitcoin is divisible into "satoshis"...
those that #follow me come for the #insults but stay for the #sarcasm.
but the clip doesn't show that the kid said: "yo, try and kick this pussy!!"

Unfortunately I won't be able to bring any of that with me to the marriage XD. Hopping to meet a woman with some semblance of family, for those reasons. And hoping to be able to live long enough to be the grandparents I never got to have.
This could be a really good thing for small business restaurants. I hadn't thought about it. You're right, the economics are better for lower middle class to learn to cook, and get the old can of spam back out, where the upper-middle working class are eating there. Who also happen to have a taste for better and higher quality...
I mean I just went to my local food truck bbq guy yesterday $18 for a brisket sandwich, local meat, prepped for days. Quality > quantity. It cost almost same for a FF meal and probably was more nutritious and satiating.
Well back in the day, Odell had gone all in on Nostr, trying to get others to join too. Back then he also posted in all caps because he was on the freedom protocol.
I cant remember the circumstances, but eventually he actually deleted his Twitter and went Nostr only.
Now he's decided that was the wrong move and left room for scammers and grifters to flood the space. So he's rejoined Twitter to fight the fight again.
It's a big deal because a lot of people got attached to the principle of Nostr-only and Odell going back feels like a betrayal. Much like people feeling betrayed over Saylor selling a penny's worth of Bitcoin.
Worth saying that i _personally_ dream of having half a dozen or more XD

Bitcoin zen sounds like a myth.
Just do real zen.
I pin to Amber v3.2.5 from Feb 2025 because I suspect the app became vibe slop after that point.
Make nsec bunkers great again (and not vibe slop)

Fair enough. Then it's still priorities I guess. And maybe the idea of "rich" has changed too. I mean we can graph and chart what inflation has done to our money. Unless you have been holding assets (which gen Z was simply too young to have been holding) the cost of living ~doubled in 5 years.
Maybe the idea of 1-2 kids and a some money to retire on is focusing too far into the future. Like id guess Id rather be able to give a better life to 1-2 children than tradeoff between across 3+. I mean I don't think it's a disputed _perception_ that the more of a head-start you can give your kids the better life they will have. Education, me living long enough to give them that and so on.
Id have to do some more napkin math, but I wonder how much a fatherless houshold affects a man's perception of raising children. I mean I know I'm scared of dying and leaving my household under water, but that's a _me_ specific problem XD
I just went ahead and made my own OTS event a while ago. Never paid attention to NIP-3 because it was obviously broken. I believe it's getting fixed now.
Sometimes tor misbehave, you can try force closing the app or switching the app to basic profile for disabling tor for most things
That's when you know you've made it 😂
The goal went from "we can retire off these assets and give our children a head start", overnight to "honey we just have to keep the lights on"
Good morning ✌️🧡
I heart Bach was a fan of the Beatles.
I’ve heard that for access control they’re thinking of doing a namespace system. Which would be effectively like folders.
So analogically your atproto repository is a drive. Public and private namespaces are folders in the drive. Lexicons are file extensions.
Yeah 20s is hard man. If you're lucky you don't have debt, but welcome to the rat race MF! You got no skills, no money, no assets, know nobody, and known nothing XD. Don't know how to dress, who/what to ask, Every lesson has to be learned the hard way. I think intelligence and risk taking is the only recipe to accelerate this period. Because everything X did doesn't apply anymore to Gen Z. In the workplace, in the financial sector, materials, assets, resumes ffs.
Ask a GenXer to write a resume. If they can. Watch them send it off into the abyss of clankers and wait for them to act dumbfounded when they got nothing in their inbox except more slop.
I think the world changed faster than they could teach it to GenZ.
This is what i see.
Seems to work

Nostr NIPs are sort of putting the cart before the horse. They try to enforce a standard before anything has even been tried.
Compare to AtProto which just lets apps each make their own lexicon and then later on down the line competing apps can come together and settle on something like an NIP if they wish.

He got some good momentum into the kick from the spin. But he didn't really commit hard enough. I think there's room for improvement.
That's what it's for tho?
Dude, wait till a friend comes over and compliments you on it.
You're right, were renting tiny spaces from anyone we can XD
Somewhat. I still know a few at home. Not because it's "home" with mom, but because it's still the smarter financial decision. Mom and dad only charge for a bedroom where you pay 5x that for 200 sqft more in an apartment.
You used to be able to search notes by Nostr media, & links, what happened to that 🤔?
Also maybe some of us are still in shock after 2008. Friends and I relate by telling stories of the disaster XD. Parents who lost their businesses, their houses, had to downsize, move schools, divorce, savings rugged. Back to candlelight, rice and beans and shit. I didn't have it that bad thankfully, my dad was saver, but it cleaned us out completely after 2008 the only time I saw my dad was when I went to work with him.
Once you get used to the tartness, it's not bad at all. If I had a banana on hand it would definitely pair well.
Exchanges will always cuck us.

Maybe things will have to look up for guys in their 30s and younger women.
yes! good points. a few thoughts there:
- "I" don't have any processes - this is just an client instantiation of a draft NIP: https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/1714 (more exposition to read at https://catallax.network )
- 100% right! OpenSats could utilize #grantless ; I would love to see this happen.
- I'll collect common FAQs across nostr posts over the next days/weeks and add them to the About. I don't want to be too duplicative with similar pages on https://catallax.network - after all, this is just a kind of narrower UI over that protocol
Thanks for your thoughts!
Housing is gonna have to fall in half. Then all of the millennials living in their parent's homes will be coming out of the woodwork to buy them up. Still leaving gen Z holding the bag.
Things are definitely different in the upper middle class scene. My cohort is in the lower middle. I'm just glad I grew up in a married household and had two parents for my early childhood. Many didn't get to say that.
Remember why we stay Cypherpunk/CryptoAnarchist, and why we want to end the banks, institutions, and Middlemen.
If they control the money they control your life.

Also I don't know how to say this. But people be living off two incomes in their parents home until their 30s right now. Gen X has a lot of weight to support. They can barely afford to house and feed themselves let alone children.
Women don't seem to be having an issue keeping jobs, but I see a lot of guys trying to balance two or three at once and any handyman/sidework we can get (with no families to support).
> It is just harder to see.
Perception is reality.
