I just think it's worth noting that it took the Republicans about a decade longer to get into this game. Directly co-opting popular influencers on mainstream social media is a more organized tactic. Until recently the GOP was almost all 70+year old men. They don't understand social media or memes. They still think people watch the evening news.
You're right most of the followers of these influencers have no clue that these people have been directly co-opted by either party and are receiving financial compensation for the things they say.

Thanks! I'm looking at 0xchat's website and I'm not seeing the web client. Are you sure they have one? If not I can try to install the Linux client.
It is just web of trust and nspam model filtering keeping them out. The problem is both of them can be flaky. Just basic Android app troubleshooting from there.
I believe @nprofile…jejf knows they are sometimes flaky even in the new version. He only takes bug reports via github so he won't be hearing from me officially.
