September 13th, YakiHonne has joined BytetradeLab, TerminusOS, Denostr to hold the SING NOSTR 2049 Afterparty in Singapore. This is a new stop of YakiHonne's global offline activities. It is also a platform to connect global community members.

At this afterparty, YakiHonne’s special guests Fiatjaf and Pablof7z shared the story of the creation process of nostr and their views on the current nostr ecology and the future.

‘I Love YakiHonne’ is the simplest but best review from Fiatjaf and Pablof7z.

YakiHonne global creator community members vp, Calebux, Croxroadnews, Bello, and ImmanuelOlivia also online shared their experiences of creating and publishing on nostr through yakihonne.com with the nostriches and creators on-site.

We also held a roundtable discussion on decentralized content and decentralized social networking.

Considering the venue limitations, unfortunately, only a small number of people participated in the on-site afterparty among the more than 600 people who registered.

Problem: I love reading some authors on e.g. or but I tend to miss their updates.

Could I get a DM every time they post something? Or on a weekly basis?

So I built a tiny ~20kb fully functional web component for publishers that:
- scans publisher DM inbox for messages with "subscribe" or "unsubscribe" and builds a subscriptor list on the fly
- sends out a message to the list with a custom message including an URL
- checks sent DMs to warn if that link was already shared

Is kind 4 the way to go? Or could we have a better construct for subs/unsubs, maybe using shared lists?
