My main point is that, for both creator and audience, the best starting point for this bright future is a Chat app.

What is the benefit of email over a secure chat?
In email, you have no guarantee how the other smtp servers will handle your mail. You can encrypt your email with PGP, but it requires from the other side to setup keys. You can encrypt with a password, but you have to send a password somewhere... Or you can own the sender and receiver mailboxes, and then you can make sure it is safe.
So sending securely on email is hard.
I guess the only benefit of email is, that you can have threads under subjects, therefore you have grouped messages. It is better organized then to do everything in 1 chat.

Actually no. It will ask to use camera or mic. you can say no to both. BUT it does have a built in text chat. And you dont have to login. you can stay anonymous if youd like.

Nobody knows but quick maths:
A decent house in my area cost today 1.5 millions (more or less in USD, I'm not in US), it was about 500'000USD 30 years ago, so it might be between 1.2 (Bitcoin works, people stop speculating on housing because Bitcoin become a better store of value and the cost increase just to reflect the demand for housing to actual live in) and 5 (housing market continue to go crazy and rise faster than inflation). So price could be between 1.65 and 7.5M, let's say 3MUSD as middle of the price range.
Inflation could go crazy but not as fast as Bitcoin. Let's say 5% per year.
If I manage to get 5% return of my invested money on top of inflation, I could retire with 2-3MUSD. So let's say with 6 MUSD I could retire in 30 years.
But I guess Bitcoin will rise much more than 10% per year on average, so it could reach 6MUSD or more by then even if it slow down after that, it will still be between just enough and very comfortable to live with 1BTC in 30 years.

Anarcho-capitalism is the right direction, but is it another utopian ideal?
You don't need your followers to change app, but you will find that if you tell your followers that you are moving, they will follow you anyway.
People aren't married to their clients. Users aren't on instagram because it is run by meta, they are on it because they can find the content they want on it and their favourite ifluencers are building for it, so even if the content is elsewhere, the platform is likely going to give the best experience.
Same will happen on nostr, but for those who are torn between their fandoms, or who are somehow married to their clients, they get to stay put. Freedom.
I think this also gives clients the freedom to focus on what they want too: features and community or relationship building tools. People will use one app to poke and share with their friends, and the other to support and fan out on their favourite creators. Yet the same content will be on both apps, maybe the apps will even interop so they can each focus on their specialities while operating on the same data.

The contents of file metadata is a description of the gif, search engines can use this to do gif searches.

Good point. As some others have highlghted, different settings call for different decorum. Much the same way I don't see the same parents at soccer as I di gymnastics. However, the ones I see at both, I have connected with more due to shared time and stated interest.
I suppose this may come down to motivations. I do notnot aim to recreate my persona or hide myself. Rather, I think of it as organizingmy online presence. I’m still trying to hook things up so I can stream via my own site but not understanding the web stuff is super frustrating.
Zapstream is good, it’s worked well so far but it’s still not data sovereign.
The other thing is culture. Bitcoiners have pissed off a lot of people over the years and I’ve already had the odd comment about being more focussed on it. My reasons go pretty deep and I won’t bore you but I know if I was hosting on my own site using something like Owncast I’d get a lot more support on Fedi.
I’m not hating on ZapStream at all, just reporting what’s going on.

Currently, we have a gigantic external dependence in Ngit. Which is fine, so long as everything is fine.
But we have a strong incentive to duplicate or fork it, so that we can be maintainers. Otherwise, we get no credit for any improvements and if we need a bugfix and isn't available, we'll be forced to fork it and have our customers switch to our version in a rush. I've had that happen in a software project before and it's incredibly embarrassing to admit that you have no control over a core feature.
This is why everyone prefers to fork, rather than contribute. Contributing regularly to something you don't have your name on is cucky.

There is a strong argument from the most anarchist positions within libertarianism that nation state as we see it today is not necessary for law and order. People in this camp argue that all societies ancient and new have developed such systems, before and after the current encroachment.
I tend to agree, thinking about a community's immediate daily needs, but I have trouble scaling it up to the level of our current global, intercontinental trade and social relationships.

National Borders are starting to disappear defiant of an intense movement to further secure them. Politicians around the world are grasping to maintain power, clutching at the hearts of their fellow citizens and spurring the effort to raise walls and strengthen borders. Has anyone stopped to consider that, perhaps, borders are becoming obsolete?
Borders were a necessity to protect valuable resources and ensure the prosperity of one’s people. Civilization began stagnant as agriculture required great populations to tend to one location. Ethnicities and cultures were purified and people laid all kinds of claims to their little slices of the earth. God ordained claims, folk tale and legend anointed claims, philosophically ingrained claims. These were unnatural claims to a slice of earth which never truly belonged to anyone.
To be human is to be a nomad, to seek resources and relationships where they are and move to where they’ll be next. We’ve forced ourselves to live this way under the tip of a spear and at the behest of bullets but, technology is a mirror and what’s reflected is our true nature. People seek “freedom” of movement to go where the resources are. We’ve devised incredibly clever ways to transcend our spatial ties to specialized work and family in order to stave off our Itinerant hunger.
Money is a spectral manifestation of our innate desire to traverse the Earth in search of resources. Humans imbue inanimate things with their nomadic spirit and dispatch them with the hopes that a little bit of the world would come back to benefit them. Unadulterated money would do exactly what was always intended of it, it will return undiluted resources to those who dispatch it, regardless of borders.
Less intermediaries are needed with peer 2 peer and open source technologies. It’s incredibly difficult for borders to siphon the flow of resources and money or build artificial Silos of wealth disguised as GDP. A border doesn’t stop a software developer @npub1gcx…nj5z from participating in the fine tapestry of a project that is global in scale. A gifted speaker @npub1qqv…cn3w can document and rally the participants.
Money will flow to where the resources and intention of people are purest.
A fellow in Venezuela, @npub17am…nldk , can snap photos to craft art enjoyed by a fellow in the USA @npub1j9c…xd49 and an exchange of value will occur. Spirits transcend borders and the “money” that transports them will disperse finely among the human population while the human population continues its search for valuable resources.
A little girl living in a desert island never experiences thirst when the diaspora of humanity taps into bountiful fountain heads of water elsewhere.
A father never lifts a weapon and is forced to leave their family to fight a war in a far off land for the sake of stealing the resources of another father when his specialized labor is more valuable to his supposed foe.
Nostr and Bitcoin are among the technologies that reflect Humanity's true image. Who do you know is refusing to look in the mirror?

I’m interested in you the human being. What you’re wearing or what you’re doing are layers of you that help to make you interesting.
The issue is not necessarily the people already using nostr, although there are some here who openly say they won’t spend their bitcoin due to tax implications. But for me the bigger issue/hurdle is the people that an established artist/creator would want to onboard to nostr vs. Patreon. Most people don’t have bitcoin and even fewer are those who have it and will spend it. An artist trying to bring in their existing audience is going to have no way to monetize if they are first forced to orange pill and teach a bunch of people how to use bitcoin. And most artists can’t afford the time that would require.

If bitcoin becomes more valuable in future like 1 USD per sat the miners will be incentivized to accept transaction charging 1 sat per v/B. Will a 10000 sat UTXO be economically unspendable in such scenarios?
Also is it possible to submit transaction to the network with 1 sat per 10 v/B or 1 sat per 100 v/B in case where value of 1 sat is 100 USD in future? If yes, then the small UTXOs will also be spendable and there is no need to worry about smaller UTXOs.

I said zero because you framed the time as between now and the election, with a hypothetical removal of Biden (which I think is very likely, yes). In this frame, I'm quite confident with "zero".
You don't just wake up one morning in Beijing and say, ok today we invade Taiwan because the old boy is out. It just doesn't work like that. It's not physically or logistically possible. Hence, zero probability.
Even bombing and destroying TSCM is not something you just "do". It would require full war preparations that take a lot longer than the time you've given. Because even if Xi used covert or black ops, everybody would know it had been him and the consequences would be immediate.
If you said in 5 years, I would give an extremely low but non-zero probability. And as we go further into the future and start to introduce unknowns like a hypothetical successor for Xi, or any other number of things, the odds may increase.
Specifically, I think the most important factor is the US developing its own SC capabilities at home. THAT would increase the odds of an attack or even an invasion drastically, but still long term.

That talk on YT is really good! Patreon guys seem to deeply understand the creator's needs and problems. And it looks like they're building a good product to try to solve it.

The issue there of course is that Patreon is building a content platform - a single corporate entity that will eventually be forced to change course and will rug pull creators. This is when, not if.
So where should creators talk to their true fans? Where should the conversation happen? Is it one of the high-quality free open source Nostr apps - Damus, Amethyst, Primal, Habla, Highlighter, Zap.stream...?
You still don't own that place, right? Yes it's easy for you to switch from one app to another on Nostr, but now you have to ask all your fans to switch too, right? "Please please please talk to me in app B, not app A"?
Maybe, the right place to talk to your fans is not an aggregator-type discovery-focused Nostr app. Maybe it's something else.
I believe there is a better solution, and it's getting ready for launch. Stay tuned!

I don’t think the odds are high of this happening, but it’s definitely not zero and Biden being removed would be an opportunity that would increase the odds for them to operate in a moment of chaos.

There is zero chance that China invades Taiwan, regardless.
First, China (as in the dictator Xi and the CCP) doesn't need to invade Taiwan. It already controls its economy, all of its major companies, all of its elites and even a big chunk of the population's opinion.
Second, it would be a massive military defeat. People have the wrong impression about the military status quo in the Taiwan Straits and the sort of amphibious invasion the would be required. Taiwan is extremely defensible and the Taiwanese are extremely entreched. China could completely level the island with bombs, yes. But as the successive military failures of the US have proven, that doesn't put boots on the ground and create a new regime.
In short, China would basically bankrupt itself and get itself into a decades long mess for nothing.
For the communists, the best (the only) path is to keep the status quo as it is now, which allows them to agitate with the ultranationalist propaganda now and then, and gives them access to what really counts, namely Taiwan's economic and industrial apparatus, and to its political elites.

For the second question, I meant how would someone protect themselves from unjust arrest, imprisonment and legal action if they happen to send money to some individual or group a government does not like... the Palestinian resistance being one relevant example as they are labelled as terrorists by certain regimes.
Bitcoin appears to be great unless you spend it on something the government is not okay with. It appears to worse than fiat cash and even worse than bank transfer for such use cases.
