There's definitely value in Nostr as a long form text publishing platform. But we do need better clients tuned for that.
So far that I know, the only Nostr client going for long form texts is Flycat.club and it has that feeling of early product/project in it.

Salt is the main one that I can tell so far. There have been days where I feel lightheaded and slightly dizzy. After reading more about salt, I made a conscious effort to heavily increase salt intake. I’m not having those moments as much anymore.
Aside from that I haven’t been taking supplements.
I think it’s time to start making sure multi- sig setups are in place, lightning nodes are running well, keys are safe, etc.

Just FYI for anyone doing this. If you're testing on WiFi you'll only get the speed of your WiFi connection to the router. You'd have to test from a wired connection to get full speed of your network. 😉 Unless your connection is less than your WiFi speed. 🫡🫠

As a content creator I find Nostr incredibly exciting. This, I believe, is because I find the concept of flash payments incredibly lucrative and a vehicle for fair value exchange of art and written content.
I'm an artist foremost and I draw an enormous amount of satisfaction from simply writing. After several years writing to the void I also like to present it to the world. It would be awesome to entertain other folks and it doesn't get much better than if I can be compensated while doing it. In today's internet I have 3 vectors of approach to get "compensated" for my writing:
1. Write on Medium. I have to pay $5/month to be a member for privilege of "maybe" making money... You can only make money if another member reads your writing. The majority of other members are writers... So naturally, the best performing content is pieces about writing or how to make money on writing. Its ridiculous.
2. Start a substack or subscription service. Again, I have to pay the provider some fee for the "opportunity" to get a newsletter in front of people. I still have to work my own traffic to it. Then, I have to expect people to fork over $5 or $10 to me for my exclusive writing. Not the best vehicle for value exchange because I could just be a shit bag for a few months and you might just forget that you've been paying me!
3. Start my own blog... Not a good option. I have to pay for the domain, pay for a web hosting site like WordPress, then spend more time promoting the website than actually writing. Brand new visitors don't want to spend money right away so I have to find a clever way to sell something like come up with a line of merch. This doesn't sound like writing, its running a business.
And that's just it. Writers, painters, film-makers, most artists of any kind want to make art not necessarily run a business. So if I manage to make someone smile or laugh or fall into a deep thought from something I wrote and they feel like that was worth a couple hundred sats that's fine with me. I'll do my job of growing my network and if I can do that at scale, now I have an opportunity to make decent money and no one is paying an exorbitant fee to consume it. Best of all artists are forced to make content about how to make money as artists to make money. It just sounds so dumb saying it but that is the state of the other platforms right now.

someone has to do the discovery work. Either the fund does it (finds devs) or the developers do it (applies to the fund). There has to be a selection process somewhere. So either the devs can self-select or the fund can go searching through all Nostr projects on earth.
So it's about incentives. The fund isn't going to spend extra energy to ALSO give away money. Theyre already "spending" a ton. So the developers are incentivized to surface themselves up; to "spend" comparatively little (time) to make themselves known and potentially gain a lot.
The filtering and selection has to happen somewhere. "hey developer who wants free money, make yourself known to me by writing a little bit on this public form and I'll read all the submissions" is far lower friction and cheaper than "okay let me scour the whole fucking internet to find a place to lose a bunch of cash."

I'm pretty sure this is just dating in general.
Adopting Bitcoin definitely changes people for the better. It reduces action from fear & extends people's time horizons.
It's hard to extrapolate out these effects among a small % of the population out into the masses as hyperbitcoinisation accelerates though.
There will still be a select group that has more power & wealth than others. I like to think that these individuals will operate with more morality than the current elite. That the incentives among these individuals will be towards voluntarism over slavery & the exploitation of the weak.
Among the elite, a copycat strategy becomes the most advantageous strategy. Wealth can't be accumulated long term via theft & pillaging. It can only be accumulated by producing more value to more people via voluntary exchange.
People will probably still sell their bodies and the bodies of their children but I think you'll also see a shift in culture around what's unacceptable behaviour.
I guess we'll have to wait & see. 🧡

Rigor Mortis is an excellent Chinese horror film, and in fact, a tribute to the Hong Kong vampire comedies of the 80s. Moreover, half of the cast, including the lead actor, starred in the original Mr. Vampire, and this connection even ties into the twist at the end of the film.

I recently had a nice, fun evening with a very drunk Canadian trucker. He seemed like an honest, hardworking guy but understandably pretty jaded and disillusioned.
He told me about the Canadian loony-toss which is some kind of Canadian ritual that thanks to government regulations resulted in pelting naked Canadian dancers with metal, fiat coins.

I think it's likely that one of the reasons for dragging out the obviously hopeless Ukraine war long enough to decimate the majority of the male population may be an effort to create a fresh supply of vulerable women to be trafficked. Trafficking women is one of things Hunter appeared to be doing there. Things like the Ukraine war are nearly impossible without fiat money.
The "War on Terror" that the US waged on the Middle East cost in dollar terms nearly the entire value of the current global supply of gold. If consumption was constrained by a money that was actually sound, it wouldn't have happened.
#Bitcoin ensures that economic growth benefits the producers & savers. Wealth accumulates to families & individuals rather than to corporations & "equities" as people attempt to escape monetary devaluation. This begins to repair the culture in a foundational way & makes healthier people. And Bitcoin essentially prevents destruction from being profitable.

今天是市场经济时代，一切需求讲究的是到市场上购买，市场供给代表了最高的生产力水平。
如果一个人今天，什么东西都要自己生产，也不是不可能，但要考虑到即使产品质量得到了保证，生产效率很难得到保证。同时也要求这个人必须有有限到只能与生活的最低需求相同的欲望，不然，他就会发现他自己要时常忍饥挨饿、衣衫褴褛，做一个21世纪的洞穴人或者野蛮人。
自主自立，对于今天的人来说，最多实现某一方面的自主自立。如果因为实现了这一方面，也要其他方面都去效仿，那只能说是愚蠢，是自绝于现代文明之外。
因此，今天我们听到自主自立，要保持警惕，有可能它意味着一种新时代的闭关锁国形式横空出世。
市场本来是每个人都可以自由进出的，一个人要想在市场上获利，一是产品力，二是购买力。产品没有竞争力，或者有竞争力但不是高盈利，这种产品的产品力是肯定不行的。
举国体制发展某一方面，当然或许能让自己也具有某种产品的研发生产能力，但能否高盈利呢？这是必须思考的一个问题。
像能把人送到月亮、太空的技术，举国体制下，确实保障了领先，但这是否就是竞争力的体现？要知道全力发展一个方面，就意味着投资的不均衡，它会影响到其他产品的研发，甚至生产。譬如，砸锅卖铁也要研发某一产品，就会导致购买力的整体衰退，由于在其他产品方面的竞争优势削弱。
若再考虑到，全力发展的这一方面，在全力投资后，取得的成效，还不如都市场上用这些研发的投入购买到的产品更具性能、质量，那么，这种自主自立就真的变成了一种纯粹的愚蠢。
今天是市场经济时代，不需要追求什么都要自己生产，尤其是自己不具优势的方面，更应该学会拿钱买。自己没有，人家肯定会要高价，如果这个产品同时又是人家独家生产，自己没有更好的替代品。这个时候，妥协是必须的。如果不妥协，那只能牺牲自己。
但我们要知道，一个人可以牺牲自己，但一个国家，它首先考虑的是民众，不能为了国家政府的面子，把这种牺牲由老百姓买单，尤其是老百姓的健康、生命买单。因为生命权包括健康权，是基本人权，一个合格的政府首先要保证的公民权利。所以，是否妥协或牺牲应该人民来决定，而不是官员。
市场时代，自主，不值得提倡。
